TBS has ordered another season of My Boys. Yay! There’ll be nine episodes in the fourth season.

Daytime

This week is the last week for Guiding Light (CBS, check your local listings). It’s difficult to conceive of daytime TV without the Bauer, Spaulding, Lewis, and Cooper families.

Season premiere of Gossip Girl (CW, 8pm). At long last Chuck & Blair may be together, at least that’s how things were at the end of last season . . . we’ll see how things go now. Serena returns from Europe with a secret, of course. Rufus, Jenny, and Dan try to adjust to a new lifestyle. And, well, I just can’t wait to see how everybody is doing. I’ve missed this show.

Eddie needs help from his Mom to say “no” to the many folks who make demands on him and also to curtail his partying. Or something like that. Taylor tries to help Rachel after she’s the victim of another tabloid attack; Rachel models for Marie Claire on a new episode of The Rachel Zoe Project (Bravo, 9pm, 10pm).

A couple faces foreclosure on two houses as a result of hoarding; a woman is forced to clean up her life or risk losing her boyfriend on a new Hoarders (A&E, 9pm and 1am).

Officers investigate reports of an illegal dog fight, a terrified dog is rescued from beneath a trailer on a new Animal Cops Phoenix (Animal Planet, 9pm, midnight, 4am).
