New episode of The Philanthropist (NBC, 9pm). James Purefoy (of Rome) stars as a billionaire playboy who turns philanthropist in this new series which was created by Tom Fontana (of Homicide, Oz). Also in the cast: Jesse L. Martin (of Law & Order), Neve Campbell (of Party of Five), Krista Allen (of The Starter Wife), Lindy Booth (of The 400), James Albrecht, and Michael Kenneth Williams (who was “Omar” on The Wire).
