On Vacation
Technical difficulties, a bout of food poisoning, and a holiday weekend have all conspired to result in my taking a vacation from doing the picks for a while. Intend to be back after the 4th of July and my birthday (the 5th of July), but we’ll see how it goes. Want to know when I return? Follow the feed, join the email list, watch the feed on Livejournal, and/or follow tvpicks on Twitter.
I do post other TV stuff occasionally to Twitter and imagine I will even when on a break.
Schedule Grids
The Fall 2009 Schedule Grid is now complete as it includes schedule data for ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, and NBC. It also includes links to Fall Previews from all the networks. And there are “info” links after each new show named on the page; you can click those to see the official pages for those shows– many of them include video previews and other neat stuff. I’ll probably post a printable version of the grid late in the summer, for those of you who like to print the grid.
Show Your Support
If you find this site useful, consider showing your support of it in some way. This site was built and is maintained by just one person, without the backing of any company or sponsor. Thanks to everyone who has written to me or sent in donations or gifts– it really means the world to me.
Other Places To Go For TV Info
TV Tattle is really the first place I go for links to stories about all things television.
Sue Trowbridge has you covered if you’d like to know who the guests will be on the late night talk shows (and some of the daytime shows).
I always enjoy reading what TV critics Alan Sepinwall, Maureen Ryan, and Tim Goodman have to say about TV.
Some of the folks who used to write at TeeVee.org are now posting stuff at TheIncomparable.com. I may even get around to posting something there sometime.
The Futon Critic collects most press releases from networks and cable stations in one place. Including listings data with episode descriptions.
The TV section at Zap2It has listings, among other things. So does TV Guide of course. As do many other sites or so I’m told (I know it’s a little weird, but I really don’t look at many other TV sites. I’m too busy watching stuff and wading through press releases myself).
Got a fave TV site you think I should check out? Let me know. I used to have this really amazing page of TV Links (if I do say so myself) and should really build something like that again.
Thank You
Thanks to all of you who have visited the site, linked to the site, written to me, sent gifts, made donations, and done other cool things over the last ten+ years.
