News & Notes
FOX announced the schedules for Fall 2009 and Winter 2010 today; I’ve updated my Fall 2009 Schedule Grid to cover all that. NBC & ABC will announce their fall schedules tomorrow, CBS makes their announcement on Wednesday, and the CW will make their announcement on Thursday. As I’ve done since 1999, I’ll be updating the schedule grid as the announcements are made.
The Amazon Deal of the Day (in ye olde Gold Box) is on Bones: Seasons 1-3 for just $70 or so (that’s just $23 per season). Yesterday they were selling this bundle of three Bones season DVD sets for $122 or so. This deal is good today only, while supplies last.

I kinda loved the season finale of Gossip Girl (CW, 7pm) when I had a chance to screen it a week ago. If you’re a fan of the show, you’ll probably enjoy it. I already can’t wait for next season! (Yes, the show will be back.)

Another very very long day comes to an end for Jack Bauer in the two-hour season finale of 24 (FOX, 7pm). Jack’s next long day will start on January 17th, 2010 as the show will be back for yet another season. How many days like that can a guy have?
No The Big Bang Theory tonight as the show had its season finale last week; instead we get a new episode of Rules of Engagement (CBS, 7pm). Does anyone actually watch that show? The times I’ve tried it, I couldn’t stand it.
