Today is the last day to purchase stuff at Amazon using “standard shipping” in order for items to arrive by Christmas. Thanks, once again, to everyone who has done their shopping at Amazon (and other retailers) via the links on this site.
Amazon.com Gift Cards are a great gift when you aren’t sure what someone wants as Amazon carries just about everything you can think of. They can send you physical gift cards or you can send gift certificates via email. Buy ‘em via my link here and you help support this site.
There’s a special deal on Amazon Prime right now as part of a promo with The Ellen DeGeneres Show. From now through December 30th, you can sign up for a year of Prime for $59, a $20 discount on the regular price. The price for subsequent years will be the regular $79 price. It’s a great deal if you shop at Amazon a lot and aren’t yet a Amazon Prime member/subscriber.

Rerun of the “How to Have the Thriftiest Holiday Ever!” episode of Oprah (syndicated, check your local listings). It was this year’s “Favorite Things” episode, which had to be a disappointment to audience members who were hoping to go home with lots of free big ticket items.
