I think I forgot to mention that Sleuth is airing episodes of shortlived series Robbery Homicide Division (Sleuth, 8pm and 11pm; also on Saturday at 6pm; and on Sunday at 1am and 2pm).
P.J. hosts a dinner parties for singles, but things don’t go as planned (of course) in this new episode of My Boys (TBS, 8:30pm and 12:30am; also on Saturday at 10pm). And her brother Andy has hired an attractive nanny, which has him on his best behavior when he’s at home. I had a chance to screen this episode and it’s cute and fun, as you might expect from this show.
Tonight’s new episode of anthology series Fear Itself (NBC, 9pm) was written by Daniel Knauf (who wrote for Carnivale) and directed by Ronny Yu. Colin Ferguson (of Eureka) is one of the stars in it along with Josie Davis, Gig Morton, Nicole Leduc, and Clifton Collins Jr. A prisoner tries to protect his family after he switches bodies with another prisoner (who is probably nastier than him, I’m guessing).
The “War on Porn” is the subject of the season premiere of Penn & Teller: Bulls…! (Showtime, 9pm, 9:30pm; also on Friday at 9pm and 9:30pm; lots of additional airings on various Showtime stations).
