Plus more sales and pre-orders are available in the Television Central part of the site.

Daytime

“David Blaine Risks His Life to Break a World Record” on Oprah (syndicated, check your local listings). He’s going to try to break the underwater breath-holding world record of 16 minutes and 14 seconds. Yikes!

Primetime

NBA playoff action: Wizards at Cavaliers (TNT, 5pm), Hawks at Celtics (TNT, 7:30pm).

Another installment of Carrier (PBS, check your local listings). For more about the show, check out the official series website.

Train movies on TCM: Union Depot (TCM, 7pm), Union Station (TCM, 8:15pm), Grand Central Murder (TCM, 9:45pm), Brief Encounter (TCM, 11:15pm), and The Ghost Train (TCM, 12:45am). You can read more about them on the TCM website.

Baseball: Brewers at Cubs (ESPN, 7pm).

If you get FOX Sports Net North, you have an opportunity to watch Twins Squeeze Play (FSN, 7pm, 10pm, 1:30am). It’s a half-hour version of the Twins-White Sox game from this afternoon. All the outs, all the hits– the audio is from the radio broadcast as the Twins game is not broadcast on FSN today. I enjoy being able to see the plays via these ultra-condensed games on the rare days that the Twins games aren’t on TV.

Rats are the subject of a new episode of Modern Marvels (History Channel, 7pm and 11pm).

The models learn “Gladiator-style fighting complete with swords” on a new America’s Next Top Model (CW, 7pm). And they’re photographed in an old Roman castle.

Eddie and Joy visit Eddie’s parents in Florida on a new ‘Til Death (FOX, 7pm). Valerie Harper and Jerry Adler guest star. It turns out Eddie’s parents are planning to divorce in order to qualify for medical insurance, but he’s not happy about it. Interesting plot point, I know people who have or haven’t married because of their respective insurance situations.

An “affluent perfectionist” whose goal is to “keep up appearances” swaps lives with a “drag racing wife” on a new Wife Swap (ABC, 7pm).

I have no idea what’s happening on tonight’s new episode of Back To You (FOX, 7:30pm) so let’s just assume that hijinks ensue. Kelsey Grammer, Patricia Heaton, and Fred Willard star in this sitcom.

HGTV airs new episodes of Get It Sold (HGTV, 7:30pm and 11:30pm) and Design on a Dime (HGTV, 8:30pm and 12:30am).

The team travels to Miami to profile a serial killer “whose sexual identity plays a key role in his choice of victims” on a new Criminal Minds (CBS, 8pm). Nicholas Brendon continues his stint on the show, you probably know him best for having played “Xander” on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Other guest stars include Michael Graziadei (of The Young and the Restless) and Tiz Texada.

New (to the U.S.) MI-5 (BBC America, 8pm and 11pm and 1am).

Rachael Ray Michael Moore is scheduled to appear tonight on a new Larry King Live (CNN, 8pm, 11pm, 2am).

Ten women leave their city lives behind to move to rural Missouri to meet a farmer named Matt in the series premiere of Farmer Wants A Wife (CW, 8pm). The women face farm-based challenges. I guess this is a bit like The Bachelor only the bachelor is a farmer and the women most definitely aren’t. Or something. The CW sent me a review copy of this and I managed to misplace it or I’d tell you more, but I think the premise is fairly straightforward.

Rerun of the “MacGyver Myths” episode of Mythbusters (Discovery, 8pm and midnight).

Two episodes of John Ratzenberger’s Made in America (Travel Channel, 8pm and midnight, 8:30pm and 12:30am). The first is a new one with visits to Marathon Petroleum in Garyville, La. and Cape Hatteras Lighthouse in Buxton, N.C. The second is a rerun of the “Hobie Cat; General Jackson Showboat” episode.

Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole guest stars as a cattle rancher named “Sunny Fields” who is suing the FDA in an effort to stop the sale of cloned meat on a new episode of Boston Legal (ABC, 9pm); Denny falls hard for her, of course. And Shirley (with Alan Shore’s help) takes the Democratic National Party to court– this should be interesting. Guest stars include Henry Gibson, Joe Morton (of Eureka), Jason Earles (of Hannah Montana), and Timothy Omundson (of Jericho and Psych). Note the new night for this show, will air on Wednesdays for the foreseeable future.

A novelist is found dead in his car in this new episode of Law & Order (NBC, 9pm). Was it suicide or murder? And could a cult called “Systemotics” be involved? Anthony Anderson joins the cast as a series regular in this episode. Daniel London guest stars.

New episode of Top Chef (Bravo, 9pm, 10pm, midnight, 1am).

Robert creates a meal for a cross-cultural wedding on a new Dinner: Impossible (Food Network, 9pm and midnight).

New episode of The Big 4-0 (TV Land, 9pm and midnight).

Could the sighting of 12 UFOs on radar on October 7th, 1965 have triggered a military alert at Edwards Airforce base? A new episode of UFO Hunters (History Channel, 9pm and 1am) tells the story.

The team investigates the death of a high school guidance counselor on a new CSI: NY (CBS, 9pm). And there’s still that “Taxi Cab Killer” to contend with.

“Kirsten chisels past asphalt to discover valuable and ancient bottles” on a new episode of Cash and Treasures (Travel Channel, 9pm and 1am, 9:30pm and 1:30am). First episode is the new one, the second is a rerun of the “Lobster: California” episode.

Jeremy May’s behavior rubs his fellow fighters the wrong way on The Ultimate Fighter (Spike, 9pm, 10pm).

New episode of The Real World (MTV, 9pm, 10pm, 1am).

It’s “Las Vegas vs. the Human Body” in the season finale of Lewis Black’s Root of All Evil (Comedy Central, 9:30pm and 11:30pm).

Late Night

Robert Schlesinger on The Daily Show (Comedy Central, 10pm and midnight).

Noah Feldman on The Colbert Report (Comedy Central, 10:30pm and 12:30am).

Matthew Broderick, Heidi Montag, Josh Groban on The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm).

Rob Corddry, chef Gordon Ramsay, Feist on Late Night with Conan O’Brien (NBC, 11:37pm).

Jeff Bridges, Valerie Edmond, Grand Archives on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (CBS, 11:37pm).

Angie Harmon (of Women’s Murder Club, Law & Order), Chef Adam Perry Lang, Def Leppard on Jimmy Kimmel (ABC, check your local listings).

Romany Malco, other guests still TBA on Last Call with Carson Daly (NBC, check your local listings).

Thanks, Dave! That’s always nice to hear.

Paul– what do you mean? Greek is still airing on Monday nights on ABC Family or at least that’s what all the listings say (I don’t personally watch the show very often so just assume the episodes have been airing as scheduled). And thanks for the kind words– good to hear from you.
