Back to back episodes of The Sarah Jane Adventures (Sci-Fi, 7pm, 7:30pm). The first episode is the conclusion of the two-part “Revenge of the Slitheen” episode, the second begins another two-parter, it’s called “Eye of the Gorgon”. All of the episodes, save for the first special one, are hour long stories split into two part episodes.
Clyde: Right, so all this fighting aliens stuff. You’ve been doing it for years?
Sarah Jane: Not now Clyde.
Clyde: What? You actually go up to the career guy at school and say “I want to defend the planet from alien invaders”?
Sarah Jane: Not exactly.

New episodes of Lemur Kingdom (Animal Planet, 7pm, 10pm, 2am) and Escape to Chimp Eden (Animal Planet, 8pm, 11pm, 3am).
A college student is haunted on a new Ghost Whisperer (CBS, 7pm). And the hauntings are remarkably similar to famous scenes from horror movies.
Catherine Tate returns as Donna Noble for the real first episode of season four of Doctor Who (Sci-Fi, 8pm and 10pm); she was the bride in “The Runaway Bride” Christmas episode from over a year ago. In this episode, she’s reunited with The Doctor as they’re both investigating a bizarre weight loss plan that’s popular in the UK. I didn’t much care for this episode as I found it a bit too cute at times, but it’s still sure nice to have a new episode of the show and I’m sure things will get darker as the season goes on; in fact I know it does in the next episode already. Enjoy this fun while it lasts!
The Doctor: “Here we are, the TARDIS. It’s bigger on the inside than it is on the outside . . . ”
Donna: “Oh, I know all that bit. Although, frankly, you could turn the heating up.”

Another new episode of Battlestar Galactica (Sci-Fi, 9pm and 11pm; also on Sunday at 10pm). Last week’s episode sure was good, though heartbreaking.
A gang of thieves kidnaps family members of an ex-Marine who is wanted for murder on a new episode of Numb3rs (CBS, 9pm). Is it time for an NCIS crossover with this show yet? ‘Cause that would be awesome. Anyway. Sharif Atkins (of ER) reprises his role as a Marine accused of murder. And Bill Nye also returns, he plays the head of Cal Sci’s Engineering department.
More “What Would You Do?” scenarios, plus John Stossel interviews Arianna Huffington on a new 20/20 (ABC, 9pm).
