A look at eating disorders in an episode titled “Deadly Thin” on Dr. Phil (syndicated, check your local listings).
“Valerie Bertinelli Comes Clean About Living A Lie” on Oprah (syndicated, check your local listings). I guess Oprah’s not doing a post-Oscars show this year.

Turner Classic Movies showcases Oscar-nominated work from the ’20s and ’30s: Stagecoach (TCM, 7pm), Only Angels Have Wings (TCM, 8:45pm), The Public Enemy (TCM, 11pm), The Buccaner (TCM, 12:30am), and The Cowboy and the Lady (TCM, 2:45am). You can read more about these films on the TCM website.
Sean Combs stars in, and is one of the producers of, a new critically acclaimed movie adaptation of A Raisin in the Sun (ABC, 7pm - 10pm). The cast of the award-winning Broadway revival of the play recreate their roles for this movie. The other stars are Audra McDonald, Phylicia Rashad, John Stamos, Bill Nunn, Cephas Jones, David Oyelowo, Sanaa Lathan, and Sean Patrick Thomas. Based on the play by Lorraine Hansberry.
Kyle gets sick or at least begins to experience some rather weird symptoms on Kyle XY (ABC Family, 7pm and 11pm). Jessi tries to take advantage of the situation to prove herself better than Kyle in some way.
Helen Mirren appears in the season premiere of Top Gear (BBC America, 7pm, 10pm, midnight). Kicks off season ten of this fun show.
Mary J. Blige on a new Storytellers (VH1, 7pm, 9:30pm).
Fashion Police: The 2008 Academy Awards (E, 7pm, 9pm, midnight).
Rerun of the “Spoiler Alert” episode of How I Met Your Mother (CBS, 7pm) which is, IMHO, a sitcom classic. Everyone but Ted sees a problem with the woman he’s dating, Marshall awaits his bar exam results. It’s all about how you can have blind spots when it comes to annoying habits, until someone points them out.
Serena and Dan go on their first “real” date, Jenny gets involved in a game of “Truth of Dare” at Blair’s sleepover on a rerun of Gossip Girl (CW, 7pm). And Lily asks Rufus for help when Eric goes missing from the treatment center. Fifth episode of the show.
Josh tries to get over Hope by going out on the town with the guys on Welcome to the Captain (CBS, 7:30pm). And Hope tries to make more female friends in the building. Sheri Appleby (of Roswell) guest stars.
Sarah breaks into Agent Ellison’s apartment on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (FOX, 8pm). Gosh, that doesn’t seem like a very good idea to me. For some reason, Cameron takes ballet classes– perhaps because Summer Glau once trained as a dancer? I’m still bothered by the fact that Cameron seemed to blend in really well at Connor’s high school in the first episode, but ever since then she’s been having difficulty blending in. I hate inconsistencies like that in TV shows. Bruce Davison guest stars as Sarah’s hospital psychiatrist.
A kiss stirs up some feelings for Junior on his wedding day on Wildfire (ABC Family, 8pm; also on Tuesday at 11pm). But I think the problem is the kiss wasn’t with his bride.
The ladies are asked to create a theme-restaurant for Flav on a new Flavor of Love (VH1, 8pm, 10:30pm).
JC Chasez pays a visit to the “girls” on Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious (CW, 8pm).
New episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8 (TLC, 8pm and 11pm) followed by a special “Viewer FAQ” episode (TLC, 8:30pm and 11:30pm).
Naturally Beautiful: Red Carpet Beauty Secrets (E, 8pm, 2:30am).
Laura (Melissa George) pays another visit to Paul (Gabriel Byrne) on a new In Treatment (HBO, 8:30pm). Last week’s episode airs at 8pm in case you missed it and/or need a refresher in where things left off with these two.
Christine promises to attend an important event with Mr. Harris (Blair Underwood) on The New Adventures of Old Christine (CBS, 8:30pm), but she ends up late to the event (or missing it entirely) when Ritchie’s soccer game runs long.
Allison’s family could still use some more money, so she reluctantly takes a job from a defense attorney on a new Medium (NBC, 9pm). Guest star Conor O’Farrell returns as attorney Larry Watt, who you may remember from a few previous episodes. I’m just thrilled to report that Miguel Sandoval is back in this episode as Manuel Devalos (Allison’s former boss) as I’ve really missed him. Here’s hoping he’s sticking around for more episodes.
Bourdain is in Romania for a new Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations (Travel Channel, 9pm, 10pm, 1am).
Salt and Pepa seek the help of a life coach to work on their relationship and communication skills on a new episode of The Salt ‘N Pepa Show (VH1, 9pm, 11:30pm).

Actually Nick airs the first six episodes of Home Improvement (Nick, 9pm - midnight) with some more early episodes airing in late night as well. And TV Land airs the first two episodes of Designing Women (TV Land, 9pm - 10pm) with more season one episodes to air daily at 9:30am and 2:30am.
