Notes
I’m not doing full picks for Friday or Saturday as I’ve got a ton of prep work yet to do for next week and there just isn’t that much to cover tonight.
If you missed the premiere of Kid Nation this week and want to see it, CBS is going to rebroadcast it on Saturday night at 7pm. Excellent news because I forgot to record it; yes, I feel pretty sheepish when I manage to forget to watch or record something. The trailer for it was excellent so I’m eager to check out a full episode. If you’ve seen it, what did you think of it?
If you were reading the site last year, did you find the pages I put together for the new shows useful? I didn’t receive much email about them nor many donations or an upswing in traffic or anything like that and they were a lot of work, so I wasn’t sure I was going to bother this year. Let me know what you think.
I may been the Queen of Understatement yesterday when I said that the original U.K. Kitchen Nightmares was “more subtle” than the version on FOX this year. Truthfully, the U.K. show is a much better show, period. So far the U.S. version appears to have more yelling and less detail about the food and actual changes to the restaurant.
