News & Notes

I’ve been a bit under the weather since hosting an early Thanksgiving on Saturday so I don’t have much for you in the way of picks today. Sorry about that. Hope to be back to “normal” soon. The grid shows that most shows have new episodes tonight and there are a couple of specials.

Primetime

Robin refuses to go to the mall with the gang on How I Met Your Mother (CBS, 7pm) and it’s because of a little secret she has. It’s a funny one.

Wayne Brady guest stars as Chris’s Dad’s younger brother on a special Thanksgiving episode of Everybody Hates Chris (CW, 7pm).

More stuff happens on Prison Break (FOX, 7pm). How’s that for descriptive?

It’s finally Homecoming at Claire’s school on Heroes (NBC, 8pm). Will someone save the cheerleader and save the world? I’ve seen the episode and I enjoyed it and I look forward to the next new episode as well. Masi Oka (who plays “Hiro” on the show) is scheduled to appear on tonight’s episode of Late Night with Conan O’Brien (NBC, 11:37pm).

Charlie and Alan go on a double-date and they leave Jake home alone for the first time on Two and a Half Men (CBS, 8pm). Both sound like bad ideas if you ask me.

Ricky and Ron threaten to leave Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (NBC, 9pm) and I can’t imagine that upsets anyone. And Harriet may post semi-nude for a catalog or something.

The “entire city could be in jeopardy” on CSI: Miami (CBS, 9pm). Wow!
