Best Bets:

Everybody Hates Chris (UPN, 7pm)
The O.C. (FOX, 7pm)
Everwood (WB, 8pm)
C.S.I. (CBS, 8pm)
Without A Trace (CBS, 9pm)
Bruce Willis on The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm)

News & Notes:

The excellent movie Serenity is still in theaters and you should go see it if you haven’t yet. The movie is now available for pre-order at amazon.com– it’s due out on December 20th. I know I’ll be hoping to get it for Christmas.

Amazon.com is having a big sale on Law & Order DVD sets, including all the various Law & Order series. Most/all DVD sets are on sale for $19.97.

Amazon.com is also having a big sale on British TV including the complete Sapphire & Steel for just $30, The Avengers Emma Peel Mega-Set for $75, the complete Prisoner for $60, The Saint Mega Set for just $60, the Monty Python Mega-Set for $100, and lots more.

The Warner Brothers and Classic TV sales are still going too.

Primetime:

Chris ends up covering for a flighty babysitter when his parents go out on a date on a new Everybody Hates Chris (UPN, 7pm).

The O.C. (FOX, 7pm) returns with a new episode. Ryan decides to make a major change in his life, Marissa continues to bond with some new friends at the public school, Seth and Summer try to cause trouble for that nasty Dean. And the character played by Jeri Ryan meets up with Julie Cooper (oh-oh).

Dukes of Hazzard Reunion Alert! Surely you knew this had to happen eventually, right? Tom Wopat is reunited with fellow Duke boy John Schneider on a new Smallville (WB, 7pm). Wopat plays one of Pa Kent’s best friends who comes to town for a visit.

You’re either watching Survivor: Guatemala (CBS, 7pm) or you’re not and I figure by now you’ve figured out where you stand, right? (This is a new episode).

NBA basketball on TNT.

Joey (NBC, 7pm) is asked to play “Celebrity Poker.”

Rerun of the two part episode of Friends (TBS, 7pm, 7:30pm) titled “The One With Monica and Chandler’s Wedding.” Followed by the next two episodes.

No Alias or other ABC series tonight as ABC is airing the movie Pirates of the Carribean (ABC, 7pm).

Rick Fox (of the Lakers) guest stars on Love, Inc. (UPN, 7:30pm).

Alec Baldwin and Jason Biggs guest star on Will & Grace (NBC, 7:30am).

Nina tries to get Andy and Jake to seek counseling (oh boy) on Everwood (WB, 8pm). And lots more stuff happens, presumably.

A young mother commits suicide and the C.S.I. (CBS, 8pm) team investigates and finds things may not be as they seem (of course). Jeffrey Nordling (of Once and Again) is among the guest stars.

There’s a wedding in 1989 on a new episode of Reunion (FOX, 8pm).

Richard Belzer (of Law & Order: SVU, Homicide), Kevin Nealon (of Saturday Night Live), Dean Cain (of Lois and Clark), Nick Gonzales, and figure skater Oksana Bauil on a new Celebrity Poker Showdown (Bravo, 8pm – 10pm, 11pm – 1am; Noon tomorrow, more reruns later this week).

A wealthy American is abducted while on vacation in Mexico on Without A Trace (CBS, 9pm). Alex Kingston (of ER) guest stars as the wife of the man who is abducted. And Paul McCrane (of ER) directs this episode. Huh. It’s interesting to see two actors from ER who are no longer with the show turn up working on the show’s direct competition.

There’s a V.I.P. in the ER (NBC, 8:59pm) on a new episode.

Late Night:

Check out Sue Trowbridge’s Late Night TV Page to see who the scheduled guests are for the various late night talk shows (and some daytime ones, too).

Bruce Willis is on The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm) and they usually work up some pretty funny schtick for the show.
