Primetime:

Frontline: The Choice 2004 (PBS, check your local listings). A look at candidates Bush and Kerry. I’m told this is fairly fair and balanced as these things go.

Simon gets kicked out of his dorm for letting a school friend stay with him on 7th Heaven (WB, 7pm). Pretty soon the whole Camden gang is involved in trying to help kids who need homes.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (ABC, 7pm) airs a special “how’d they do that?” episode that looks at how they managed the episode that aired last night. I guess.

USA has Law & Order: SVU reruns this evening; while TNT has Law & Order reruns. TBS airs plenty of sitcoms, of course.

Doctors Brown and Abbott both advise their kids to abstain from sex on Everwood (WB, 8pm) and their kids get suspicious when they both get the same talk on the same day. Nina and Bright each ask someone out with interesting results.

Danny, Mike, and Ed search for a missing casino employee (and inventor) on Las Vegas (NBC, 8pm). They also prepare “their youth football team for the Casino League Championship game.” Um, okay. James McDaniel (of NYPD Blue) guest stars as a casino owner. The Black Eyed Peas also guest star.

Rerun of the “Crazy Chin” episode of Everybody Loves Raymond (CBS, 8pm) from last season. Funny Robert-centric episode.

Kimberly Williams-Paisley and Annabella Sciorra star in Identity Theft: The Michelle Brown Story (Lifetime, 8pm). With Jason London and John Kapelos.

“Southern” and “BBQ” Unwrapped (Food Network, 8pm and midnight; 8:30pm and 12:30am).

Soldier’s Pay (IFC, 8:35pm and 11pm) is the “true story of U.S. soldiers in Iraq who found $700 million in cash.”

Alan upsets Charlie on a rerun of Two and a Half Men (CBS, 8:30pm) by choosing “harebrained cousins” to be Jake’s guardians in the event of his death (rather than Charlie).

One of the team members is killed in the line of duty on a rerun of this season’s premiere episode of C.S.I. Miami (CBS, 9pm).

Clips of political sketches from Saturday Night Live are featured in Saturday Night Live Presidential Bash 2004: The Great Debates (NBC, 9pm).

Mondo Magic (A&E, 9:30pm and 1:30am) visits Vancouver.
