A murder takes place at (or not long after) a “swingers party” on C.S.I. (CBS, 8pm). Aisha Tyler returns as a lab tech. Pruitt Taylor Vince and Doug Savant (of Desperate Housewives, Melrose Place) guest star. There’s also a case that somehow involves a video arcade.

Dino quits the hockey team and his Dad wants to know why (oh-oh); Ms. Young wants Ben to try out for the school play on life as we know it (ABC, 8pm). Samm Levine (of Freaks and Geeks) guest stars which should be reason enough to watch.

A spell turned the Charmed (WB, 8pm) ones into bickering teenagers on this rerun. Charisma Carpenter (of Angel, Buffy) and Nich Lachey guest star.

The teams come up with recruitment campaigns for the NYPD on The Apprentice (NBC, 8pm).

O Brother, Where Art Thou? (TBS, 8pm) is one of my favorite movies.

“The physically transformed winner of a popular surgical make-over reality show disappears in the midst of a publicity event at which she was the featured attraction” on Without A Trace (CBS, 9pm). Elizabeth Berkley (of Saved By The Bell, Showgirls) and Evan Handler (of Sex and the City) guest star.

“Tricks for Treats” are Good Eats (Food Network, 9pm and 1am).

Another airing of Genius: A Night for Ray Charles (BET, 9pm). In case you missed it on CBS, it’s a good special.

Another airing of The Brooke Ellison Story (A&E, 9pm and 1am). Directed by Christopher Reeve.

Abby and Neela work in the NICU on a rerun of ER (NBC, 8:59pm).
