I updated the Homicide Video FAQ a few days ago with cover art, info on special features, etc. for the DVD set for Homicide: Life on the Street season 5. I was the first person to post this info to the net (go me!). Forgot to mention it here.
Just another reminder that you can pre-order Season 4 of Angel which is due out on September 7th.
Your donations really can make a difference. Other support is also very much appreciated. Updates will be earlier and better once my computer situation is improved (and I need money to get things straightened out).

60 Minutes (CBS, 7pm) tells the story of Chris and Rich Andrews “who inherit a palace” and Charlie Rose interviews Dennis Hopper.
Plus, Correspondent Charlie Rose interviews actor/director Dennis Hopper, the star of “Easy Rider,” “Blue Velvet” and “Red Rock West.”
Mitch (Seth Green) tells Donna a secret about Eric on That ’70s Show (FOX, 7pm).
TBS wants to be the station you turn to when you want to see something funny. To that end, tonight they air four classic episodes of Seinfeld (TBS, 7pm – 9pm), as well as more episodes of Sex and the City (TBS, 9pm, 9:35pm).
Bob (Andy Richter) is embarassed by the sport that one of the Quintuplets (FOX, 7:30pm) chooses. I seriously doubt this episode will be anywhere near as good as the episode of The Bernie Mac Show from earlier this year where Jordan did rhythmic gymnastics. It pains me to see Richter in such a mediocre series. The only glimmers of originality and humor in this series thus far have come from jokes stemming from things unique to a family with quints (and those jokes are few and far between).
Drew tries to stop drinking during Kellie’s pregnancy, but of course his friends make it difficult on The Drew Carey Show (ABC, 8pm).
More of Paris and Nicole being obnoxious on The Simple Life 2 (FOX, 8pm). They also make sausage.
Bobby checks out Grilled seafood in Florida, Texas, and California on BBQ with Bobby Flay (Food Network, 8pm and midnight).
Jon Favreau guest stars on King of Queens (CBS, 8pm).
Chaka Khan and Kenny Loggins guest star on Method & Red (FOX, 8:30pm) This episode airs again on July 2nd and July 6th.
French Stewart (of Third Rock from the Sun) guest stars as Drew’s new neighbor on The Drew Carey Show (ABC, 8:30pm).
Two guys to get Into Character (AMC, 9pm). The characters this time are The Blues Brothers (AMC, 9:30pm).
Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly introduce clips from more than 75 movies in That’s Entertainment, Part 2 (TCM, 9pm). It’s incredibly fun stuff.
“Egg Files 5: Souffle-Quantum Foam” (cheese souffle) and “Spice Capades” (spices) episodes of Good Eats (Food Network, 9pm and 1am, 9:30pm and 1:30am). Always a best bet.
Baseball: San Francisco Giants at Los Angeles Dodgers (ESPN2, 9pm).
Rerun of the “Mr. Monk and the Panic Room” episode of Monk (USA, 9pm).
New episodes of Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica (MTV, 9pm) and The Ashlee Simpson Show (MTV, 9:30pm). Consider yourself warned.
New episode of Reno 911! (Comedy Central, 9:30pm and 11:30pm). The tv listings summary says it all really: “Dangle’s ex-wife visits while the deputies are trying to get rid of a Ten Commandments monument.” This show makes me laugh harder than just about anything on TV (except possibly Space Ghost and maybe Harvey Birdman).
Helen Mirren on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Comedy Central, 10pm and midnight).
Greg Giraldo, Nick Di Paolo, Lynne Koplitz, Todd Lynn on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn (Comedy, 10:30pm and 12:30am).

Kate Hudson, Fantasia Barrino, Dido on a rerun of The Tonight Show (NBC, 10:35pm).
Uma Thurman, Jon Favreau, Sugarcult on a rerun of Late Night with Conan O’Brien (NBC, 11:35pm).
Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Patton Oswalt, Lloyd Banks on Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC, check your local listings).
Reggie Miller, Dave Foley (of Celebrity Poker Showdown, NewsRadio, Kids in the Hall), Adam Hunter on The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn (CBS, check your local listings).
Kid Rock, Mis-Teeq on a rerun of Last Call with Carson Daly (NBC, check your local listings).

Keira Knightley, Bobby Flay on The Early Show (CBS, 7am – 9am).
Note new start time: Sci-Fi mini-marathon du jour: The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne (Sci-Fi, 7am – 3pm).
Amanda Bynes, Sara Rue (of Less Than Perfect), Carrot Top, Snow White on Live with Regis and Kelly (syndicated, check your local listings). From Disneyland.
Wilson Phillips, Joan and Melissa Rivers, Michael Holick on The View (ABC, check your local listings).
Minnie Driver, Jason Bateman on a rerun of The Ellen DeGeneres Show (syndicated, check your local listings).

“Dolly Parton, Shania Twain and Melissa Etheridge” on a rerun of Oprah (syndicated, check your local listings).
Bravo airs a Celebrity Poker Showdown marathon (Bravo, Noon – 7pm). Starts with an episode from last season (the one with Mimi Rogers, Tom Green, Carrie Fisher, David Cross, and Scott Stapp) at Noon. And that’s followed by all the episodes from this season.
Baseball: Houston Astros at Chicago Cubs (WGN, 1pm).
“The Puppet Show” episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (FX, 1pm).
Upright Citizens Brigade (Comedy Central, 1pm, 1:30pm).

Expect mostly reruns in primetime Thursday except for the season finale of Celebrity Poker Showdown (Bravo, 8pm – 10pm; 11pm – 1am) and a new episodes of The First 48 (A&E, 9pm and 1am), The Graham Norton Effect (Comedy Central, 9pm and 11pm), Stephen King’s Kingdom Hospital (ABC, 8pm), and Pepsi Smash (WB, 7pm). And it’s safe to watch Trio again now that the Flops are gone (Johnny Staccato is back at 7pm, 7:30pm).
Check out Sue Trowbridge’s excellent late night lineups page for talk show listings. You also might enjoy Tom Heald’s Remote Patrol.
Sorry I won’t be able to cover Thursday in full, this will have to do you. I hope to be back with picks for this weekend sometime on Friday or very late Thursday.
