Part 1 (of 2) of a new miniseries version of Stephen King’s Salem’s Lot (TNT, 7pm, 9pm, 11pm). Rob Lowe stars, with Donald Sutherland, James Cromwell, Andre Braugher, Samantha Mathis, Rutger Hauer. I like Tim Goodman’s review of it. Well, part of the piece is a review, the other part is about the firing of Jordan Levin of the WB.

Ron Silver and Stockard Channing star in Jack (Showtime, 7pm). Jack is the name of their son (in this new movie, that is). Film is based on a novel by A.M. Homes. The characters played by Silver and Channing are divorcing and then Silver’s character reveals he’s gay.

La Femme Musketeer (Hallmark, 7pm). Susie Amy stars, with G?rard Depardieu, Michael York, Freddie Sayers, Roy Dotrice, and Nastassja Kinski. It’s a new TV movie that is about the daughter of Jaques D?Artagnan,
