2004-05 Schedules for FOX, UPN, ABC, CBS, NBC, and the WB are now all on my 2004 Fall Schedule Grid Preview page thingie. Preview Grid page includes links to the official pages for new shows, to press releases, and other useful information. Will be adding more info as I track it down (know of anything I’ve missed? Please email me).
Both Arrested Development and Tru Calling will be back on FOX next season. 24 will be back next season, but won’t air it’s first episode ’til January and then will presumably run rerun free on Monday nights. The O.C. is moving to Thursday nights at 7pm. Check out the schedule page (linked above) for more details on returning and new series.
Star Trek: Enterprise will be back.
Good deal: Vonage has lowered their “Unlimited calls in the U.S. and Canada” plan in price from $35 to $29.99. Even better deal than before. Never pay for long distance again! That price includes caller ID, call waiting, voice mail, call forwarding, three way calling, and lots of other cool stuff as well as just plain old local phone service (this isn’t a fee on top of your regular phone, it includes that). I’ve used Vonage since July and I love it. Did I mention you can pick whatever area code you want? And if you ever move, your phone number travels with you if you’d like it to (even if you move thousands of miles). Heck, if you go on vacation to someplace that has high speed internet access, you can bring your little Vonage router along and plug any old phone into it and use your phone just as if you were at home. It’s amazing stuff. Got questions? Check out their website or pester me via email. And if you sign up via my link to their website, you can get a month free and I’ll get a month free phone service, too. I’d recommend them regardless, though. You have to have high speed internet for this to work (cable modem or DSL).

Andy Alert! Glenn Close, Andy Richter, Angie Stone on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (syndicated, check your local listings).
A look back at some of Sharon’s best interviews with “hunks”: with clips from interviews with Tommy Lee, George Lopez, Jack Black, Donny Osmond, Peter Gallagher (of The O.C.), Billy Bob Thornton, and others on The Sharon Osbourne Show (syndicated, check your local listings; WGN, midnight).
Sharon Osbourne, Cheech Marin, a performance from “Mamma Mia!” and Wayne erforms on The Wayne Brady Show (syndicated, check your local listings).
“A Family Divided: What Lies Ahead?” on Dr. Phil (syndicated, check your local listings).
“The Mistake I Can’t Take Back” on Oprah (syndicated, check your local listings).

50 Most Awesomely Bad Songs . . . Ever (VH1, 6pm – 8pm). I apologize for “awesomely.”
Baseball: Arizona Diamondbacks at Atlanta Braves (TBS, 6:30pm).
D.B. Sweeney and Oscar B. Goodman guest star on a rerun of C.S.I. (CBS, 7pm). Nicholas Lea (Krycek on The X-Files) makes his first appearance on the show (he’s since appeared a bunch of times).
American Express commissioned a cute series of shorts featuring Jerry Seinfeld and an animated Superman (voiced by Patrick Warburton) and directed by Barry Levinson. Many have seen them on the internet, but now NBC airs the short on TV as The Adventures of Seinfeld and Friend (NBC, 7:42pm – 7:52pm) or The Adventures of Seinfeld and Superman depending on what TV listings you look at. It’s cute stuff.
Rerun of the series finale of Friends (NBC, 7:52pm – 8:59pm). In case you care and missed it. I thought it was a decent ending. Though I think Ross and Rachel could’ve handled things better.
Season finale of C.S.I. (CBS, 8pm). I could describe the episode more, but I figure it’d be more fun to be surprised for the finale (if you haven’t already seen a zillion promos for it). Nina Siemaszko is among the guest stars.
Primetime Thursday (ABC, 8pm) looks at the crisis in the porn industry because of an HIV scare that led to a shutdown.
Former Texas Governor Ann Richards on Larry King Live (CNN, 8pm, 11pm, 2am).
Eight episodes of Tripping The Rift (Sci-Fi, 8pm – midnight).
Season finale of Without A Trace (CBS, 9pm). Malone’s last case (supposedly) in which a yacht is found adrift and they search for a billionaire?s estranged wife and their two children. I’ve received a few emails asking if Anthony LaPaglia is leaving the show, as far as I know he isn’t. No need to panic. Maybe that storyline is dealt with in this episode. Roxann Dawson (of Star Trek: Voyager) is among the guest stars.
More Super Millionaire (ABC, 9pm).
A wealthy man is beaten to death and there are a bunch of suspects; Goren works with a temporary partner on a rerun of Law & Order: Criminal Intent (NBC, 8:59pm). Though some listings indicate it’s new, I’m pretty sure it aired before.
Andy Richter on a rerun of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Comedy Central, 10pm and midnight).
Rerun of Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn (Comedy Central, 10:30pm and 12:30am).
Kate Hudson, Outkast, aerobatic plane demo on The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm).
Jake Gyllenhaal, Nelly Furtado on The Tonight Show (NBC, 10:35pm).

Jami Gertz, David Cross, Ronald Vaughn, George Thorogood on Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC, check your local listings).
Tony Danza, Maria Menounos on The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn (CBS, check your local listings).
Kevin Pollak, Harland Williams, The Killers on Last Call with Carson Daly (NBC, check your local listings).

Baseball: St. Louis Cardinals at Chicago Cubs (WGN, 2pm).
Prince and Brittany Murphy on a very cool rerun of The Ellen DeGeneres Show (syndicated, check your local listings).
George Lopez co-hosts with guests Anna Nicole Smith, Rosa Blasi (of Strong Medicine), Stryker on The Sharon Osbourne Show (syndicated, check your local listings).
Rocco DiSpirito, Simon Winthrop, Molly Parker, Groovaloos on The Wayne Brady Show (syndicated, check your local listings).
“Extreme Behaviors” on Dr. Phil (syndicated, check your local listings).
“Lionel Richie and Daughter Nicole on Fame, Drugs & Divorce” Oprah (syndicated, check your local listings).
“Tabula Rasa” and “Smashed” episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (FX, 3pm, 4pm).
