Best Bets:

The Bernie Mac Show (FOX, 7pm)
Cracking Up (FOX, 7:30pm)
Significant Others mini-marathon (Bravo, 8pm – 10pm; 11pm – 1am)
C.S.I. Miami (CBS, 9pm)
Janet Jackson, John Mayer on The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm)

News:

I apologize for the website being down this morning. Not my fault. Very frustrating for me as all my sites were down. I also wasn’t able to receive email this morning, so if you sent a contest entry, you might want to resend just to be safe. This is pretty much the last straw for me as far as my web host goes, I’ll be looking for a new home for tvpicks.net. I’m open to suggestions. Though not sure how I’ll be able to afford a switch.

TV DVDs due out tomorrow include: Season 4 of Homicide: Life on the Street and Season 3 of C.S.I. and more. Check out my review of the Homicide season 4 DVD set. Still time to get these sets for the discounted pre-order price. Sets are shipping now.

Contest deadline has been extended to Noon on Wednesday, March 31st. ‘Cuz for some reason I thought March 30th was the last day of the month. Silly me. Anyway. There’s still time to enter the contest. You can enter by sending me email, making a donation (please use the sidebar link to Paypal), or buying me a gift. You’re best odds for a prize are if you donate some money– and frankly, given the technical problems I’m having, I could use some funds to try and find a new more reliable host for tvpicks.net. I will be contacting everyone who has entered the contest this afternoon (assuming I can get emails out). Contest winners will be picked on April 1st and winners will be announced on April 2nd.

Stephen King’s Kingdom Hospital moves to Thursdays; Extreme Makeover moving to Wednesday; Wonderfalls moves from Friday to Thursday for at least one episode.

Jerry Orbach might be leaving Law & Order. Of course it’s possible Orbach will move to the new Law & Order series.

Tim Goodman talks about FOX and how great Arrested Development and Wonderfalls are and how they both probably won’t survive to next season. Heck, I worry that neither of them will.

Daytime:

Sci-Fi mini-marathon du jour: Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (Sci-Fi, 10am – 3pm).

Roseanne Barr, Chicago, Rachel Dratch (of Saturday Night Live, Game Over) on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (syndicated, check your local listings).

Tommy Davidson guest hosts, with guests Corbin Bernsen, Jerry Penacoli, Shelby Lynne on The Sharon Osbourne Show (syndicated, check your local listings; WGN, midnight).

Catherine Hicks, psychic medium Mary Occhino, Michael Buble, Amazing Animals Week with Wildlife Expert Jarod Miller on The Wayne Brady Show (syndicated, check your local listings).

“Teen Weight Loss Challenge” & healthy drive thru choices on Dr. Phil (syndicated, check your local listings).

Rerun of a “Weight Loss Success Stories” episode of Oprah (syndicated, check your local listings).

“The Wish” episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (FX, 3pm).

“Waiting in the Wings” episode of Angel (TNT, 4pm).

Primetime:

NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament (ESPN, 6pm).

Beach specials and other specials about warmer climes on “Beach Week” on the Travel Channel.

The family goes on a trip to San Diego on The Bernie Mac Show (FOX, 7pm). Still often one of the funnier sitcoms on the air. Maybe it’ll do better on Monday nights.

John Goodman guest stars on a classic episode of Now and Again (Trio, 7pm and 10pm). Michael Wiseman (Eric Close) goes into a catatonic state and we see flashbacks to his old life. Dennis Haysbert, Margaret Colin, Heather Matarrazo, Gerrit Graham also star.

“A 1950s-style house gets a Zen flavor” on Monster House (Discovery, 7pm and 10pm).

Chuck Norris guest stars on a rerun of Yes, Dear (CBS, 7pm).

Rerun of The Apprentice (CNBC, 7pm and 10pm).

Another airing of the new Kathy Griffin special Kathy Griffin: The D-List (Bravo, 7pm).

Jason Schwartzman and a young kid are the only sane ones on Cracking Up (FOX, 7:30pm). Molly Shannon and Chris McDonald also star. Tonight’s new episode has the family trying to impress a tutor and a schoolteacher. I kinda liked last week’s episode where most of the characters got locked in a new panic room.

Kevin Nealon guest stars on a rerun of Still Standing (FOX, 7:30pm).

Bravo airs the first four episodes of their funny new series Significant Others (Bravo, 8pm – 10pm; 11pm – 1am). I must admit, I found this pretty funny. Worth a shot given how most other things are reruns.

Premiere of new TV movie Call Me: The Rise and Fall of Heidi Fleiss (USA, 8pm, 10pm). Jamie-Lynn DiScala stars as Heidi Fleiss, with Robert Davi, Brenda Fricker, Emmanuelle Vaugier, Corbin Bernsen, and Saul Rubinek.

Rerun of the “Unspoken Truths” episode of Everwood (WB, 8pm, rerun on Sunday at 5pm). See where the show left us, ’til the next new episode on April 5th. Things don’t go so well between Madison and Ephram, nor between Amy and her boyfriend, nor between Dr. Linda and Andy Brown. Amy goes to a party and may or may not get some closure in regards to Colin.

Marie thinks Ray and Debra are giving Ally too much to do on a rerun of Everybody Loves Raymond (CBS, 8pm).

Ed (James Caan) pretends he’s away on vacation as a test for those who work for him on a rerun of Las Vegas (NBC, 8pm).

Michael Bergin (of Baywatch) discusses his relationship with Carolyn Bessette before and during her marriage to JFK Jr. in The Other Man (A&E, 8pm and midnight).

“Microwave” and “Deli” episodes of Unwrapped (Food Network, 8pm and midnight, 8:30pm and 12:30am).

Shannon Elizabeth and Billy Dee Williams guest star on a rerun of That ’70s Show (FOX, 8pm; followed by another rerun at 8:30pm).

Alan (Jon Cryer) runs into his ex and her new boyfriend; and then he agrees to a makeover on a rerun of Two and a Half Men (CBS, 8:30pm). Lucky Vanous guest stars. This show is growing on me. It’s refreshing to have a show that doesn’t suck on after Raymond.

A reporter witnesses the murder of a city councilman’sl aide on a new C.S.I. Miami (CBS, 9pm).

Barbara Walters interviews Karen Hughes (President George W. Bush’s former communications director), Andrew McCarthy discusses his alcoholism, and John Stossel’s Top 10 “Give Me A Break” Awards on 20/20 (ABC, 9pm).

Couple more episodes of Airline (A&E, 9pm and 1am; 9:30pm and 1:30am). Tales of those working for Southwest airlines.

Rerun of last week’s new episode of The Shield (FX, 9:30pm). Third episode of the third season. Intense.

Late Night:

Jennifer Beals on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Comedy Central, 10pm and midnight).

Jon Lovitz guest stars on the 50th episode of NewsRadio (Biography, 10pm and 2am).

Snacks on Unwrapped (Food Network, 10pm and 2am).

Janet Jackson, John Mayer on The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm).

Kiefer Sutherland, Raquel Castro, Gary Jules on The Tonight Show (NBC, 10:35pm).

Topher Grace, Jack Osbourne, Jim McMullan on a rerun of Late Night with Conan O’Brien (NBC, 11:35pm).

Ben McKenzie (of The O.C.), Max Kellerman, Blondie on Last Call with Carson Daly (NBC, check your local listings).

TV Funhouse (Comedy Central, 1am – 3am).

Tomorrow:

“The Wish” and “Buffy vs. Dracula” episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (FX, 6am, 7am).

Excerpts from the Jerry Seinfeld and Superman short film, Anne Hathaway, Peter Sander on Today (NBC, 7am – 10am).

Michael Bergin, Karen Hughes, LaShell Griffin on Good Morning, America (ABC, 7am – 9am).

Julia Stiles, best bikes on The Early Show (CBS, 7am – 9am).

Finola Hughes, Parminder Nagra (of ER) on Live with Regis and Kelly (syndicated, check your local listings).

Minnie Driver, Michael Bergin, Dr. Shari Brasner on The View (ABC, check your local listings).

Sci-Fi marathon: Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (Sci-Fi, 10am – 3pm).

Michael Chiklis, Vivica A. Fox on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (syndicated, check your local listings).

Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Martin Spanjers, Ashley Scott, Musiq on The Sharon Osbourne Show (syndicated, check your local listings).

No Buffy the Vampire Slayer reruns, just COPS on FX.

“Couplet” episode of Angel (TNT, 4pm).

“What Kind of Day Has It Been” episode of The West Wing (Bravo, 6pm and 10pm). Season 1 finale.

In primetime expect new episodes of Scrubs, The Shield, 24, Century City, Law & Order: SVU, NYPD Blue, Significant Others, American Idol, Whoopi, 8 Simple RulesHappy Family, I’m With Her, Frasier, According To Jim, It’s All Relative. Full details will be available in my picks for Tuesday, which should be online sometime after midnight and before Noon Tuesday.
