Primetime:

CBS just has games from the NCAA Men’s basketball tournament.

Jason Priestley joins the cast and Laura Leighton guest stars as Tru’s Dad’s new wife on a new Tru Calling (FOX, 7pm). Episode is followed by the premiere of a music video for the series theme song (“Somebody Help Me”) by band Full Blown Rose.

Primetime Special Edition : Rumsfeld’s Rules of War (ABC, 7pm).

Another “viewer’s choice” episode of Friends (NBC, 7pm). Yes, that would be a rather old rerun.

Will plays hard to get with his new boyfriend (Bobby Cannavale) on a new Will & Grace (NBC, 7:32pm). This episode pokes fun at and/or pays tribute to the series Frasier, Friends, and Sex and the City (which all have series finales this season). Sharon Osbourne and Bebe Neuwirth guest star. (Are there any episodes of this show without guest stars anymore?)

Chris agrees to appear on a TV quiz show to try and impress Yola on a new episode of The Chris Isaak Show (Showtime, 9pm – 9:45pm). This episode is followed by a second new episode of The Chris Isaak Show (Showtime, 9:45pm) which starts at 9:45pm. Chris and Yola try to get away from it all and end up playing parts in a murder mystery game with the band.

With Malice (A&E, 9pm and 1am). A.k.a. M.I.T.: Murder Investigation Team. The case starts with the bludgeoned body of a convicted pedophile.

Bob Newhart and Bruno Campos guest star on a rerun of ER (NBC, 8:59pm).

Three people audition to sing “One Week” with Barenaked Ladies on You Rock With . . . : Barenaked Ladies (VH1, 9pm). Remember when David Duchovny played “egg” and sang backup for the band on The Tonight Show? That was cool.

Bill Murray & Antonio Banderas are put to the test on Banzai! (Comedy Central, 9:30pm). It’s a spoof of Japanese game shows, sortof. Can a man out-fetch a dog? Tune in to find out. Ran on FOX briefly last summer.

Al Franken on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Comedy Central, 10pm and midnight).

Jon Stewart is Matthew’s twin on NewsRadio (Biography, 10pm and 2am).

Marlon Wayans on The Early Show (CBS, 7am – 9am).

Cast of Will & Grace on Inside The Actors Studio (Bravo, 6pm).

First two episodes of Andromeda (Sci-Fi, 6pm – 8pm; 11pm – 1am). Series makes its debut on the Sci-Fi channel. Kevin Sorbo stars so I’m obligated to mention that Sorbo is from my hometown of Mound, Minnesota. We went to the same church, the park I played in as a child is now named “Sorbo Park.”

Duck Dodgers (Cartoon Network, 6:30pm).

In primetime on Friday expect new episodes of Wonderfalls, Life With Bonnie, The D.A., Touching Evil, Dweezil & Lisa, The Help, George Lopez, and maybe some others. NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament on CBS. NBA hoops on ESPN. Full details in my picks for Friday which should be online shortly after midnight.
