Primetime:

Baseball: Minnesota Twins at New York Yankees (ESPN, 7pm). ALDS, Game 2. Twins lead the series 1-0. Best of 5.

Ross learns that Rachel and Joey are dating on Friends (NBC, 7pm – 7:32pm).

Season premiere of Scrubs (NBC, 7:32pm). Elliot has had quite the makeover. Scott Foley guest stars. And there’s a “puzzling patient.”

Conclusion of the first ever two-part episode of C.S.I. (CBS, 8pm). A couple of suspected serial killers turn up dead.

Mira Sorvino guest stars on Will & Grace (NBC, 8pm).

Last week Jayne Brook guest starred on Without A Trace (CBS, 9pm), this week Hector Elizondo guest stars. Will Mandy Patinkin, Adam Arkin, Mark Harmon, Christine Lahti, Peter MacNicol, Thomas Gibson, Roxanne Hart, Roma Maffia, and Peter Berg be next? I’d be amused by an all-former castmembers of Chicago Hope season, but I’m like that.

Carter returns to the Congo to retrieve Luka’s body (!?!) on ER (NBC, 8:59pm). But is Luka really dead? That would suck. And I believe Carter (Noah Wyle) goes missing himself for a while after this episode (he won’t appear in at least a few episodes this season).

Late Night:

Rob Lowe on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Comedy Central, 10pm and midnight).

Sanaa Lathan on The Orlando Jones Show (FX, 10pm and 12:30am).

Lucy Liu, Dame Edna, Bonnie Raitt on The Tonight Show (NBC, 10:35pm).
