Turning a bland suburban house into a “retro future palace” on Monster House (Discovery, 7pm and 10pm).
Brit Hume interviews President Bush. Fox News Special: Interview With President Bush (FOX, 7pm; airs again at 11pm on Fox News Channel).
Part 2 of the 2-part of the season premiere of 7th Heaven (WB, 7pm). Mary returns with a surprise.

Or watch people hold their breaths while in a glass coffin full of leeches. Eek. On the million dollar season premiere of Fear Factor (NBC, 7pm). Yuck.
Everyone’s experiencing growing pains of some sort or another on Everwood (WB, 8pm). Will Ephram get into Julliard? Will Amy get it together enough to get her college applications in at all? And how is Bright coping? I know, it all sounds teen-soap-ish, but this show really is better than all that. Though there is a storyline involving a cheerleader with ruptured breast implants, so who knows?
Debra decides to go golfing with Ray on the season premiere of Everybody Loves Raymond (CBS, 8pm). This series won a “best comedy” Emmy award last night; Doris Roberts and Brad Garrett also took home Emmys for acting.

“Tropical” and “Crazy Colors” on Unwrapped (Food Network; 8pm and 11pm, 8:30pm and 11:30pm).
Series premiere of Two and a Half Men (CBS, 8:30pm). Charlie Sheen plays a swinging bachelor who “never grew up”. Things get sitcom-y when his uptight brother (Jon Cryer) moves in, with a kid in tow. Uptight single dad + kid + laid back brother = wacky hijinks. Or something. I know Cryer can be hilarious in this kind of role, it does seem like this show might be a better fit for the post-Raymond slot. TV Guide points out “Yes, Dear and Still Standing succeeded on this night. And this one’s actually funny.” Har!
Series premiere of Las Vegas (NBC, 9pm). John Duhamel and James Caan star in this series. A guy with a job in high-stakes surveillance at Vegas casinos falls for the “naughty” daughter of his boss (Caan). Or something. Nikki Cox, James Lesure, Vanessa Marcil, Molly Sims, and Marsha Thomason also star. TV Guide calls the pilot “slick, fast-paced and sexy.” Note that this series’ regular timeslot will be 8pm (opposite Everwood, Everybody Loves Raymond, Monday Night Football, Skin, and Girlfriends). Third Watch will air at 9pm.
A model is killed in a hit-and-run during Fashion Week. Horatio suspects a playboy who has diplomatic immunity. On the season premiere of C.S.I. Miami (CBS, 9pm). Sofia Milos joins the cast this season as Yelina Salas. Heidi Klum and Chad Lowe guest star.
