Four of the best episodes of The Dick Van Dyke Show (TV Land, 7pm - 9pm). You know what? I’d rather watch these episodes than any of the reruns or new episodes airing tonight. The first episode is the one with the walnuts (you know the one), the second is one where Laura tries to throw a surprise party for Rob, the third is the one where Laura’s toe gets stuck in the bathtub spout, and the fourth is the one where Laura blabs about Alan Brady’s toupee on TV.
Beyond Borders: John Sayles in Mexico (IFC, 7pm).
Biography: John Ritter (A&E, 7pm and 11pm).
Season premiere of Survivor: Pearl Islands (CBS, 7pm). The castaways are stranded off the coast of Panama. And yes, this time they dump them off at an unexpected time– so the castaways are stuck with whatever clothing they were wearing on the day that this happened. Presumably no extra gear or luxury items or whatever.
Series premiere of Threat Matrix (ABC, 7pm). A team deals with threats to homeland security. Has received really bad reviews. Doubt it’ll last long given the timeslot it’s in and the fact that there are no big stars on it or behind it.
Inside the NFL (HBO, 7pm).
NBC reruns last season’s finales of Friends (NBC, 7pm), Will & Grace (NBC, 8:10pm), and ER (NBC, 8:58pm). With odd start and end times, so if you missed a few minutes of any of the shows last year ‘cuz of this, I guess you could catch them now. Or decide you’re fed up with NBC and they’re crazy penchant for starting and ending shows at odd times.
Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of Three’s Company VH1, 7pm).
Jamie poses as a stylist in Jose Eber’s salon on the season premiere of The Jamie Kennedy Experiment (WB, 7:30pm).
Paul McCartney returns to Russia for a concert in 2003: Paul McCartney in Red Square (A&E, 8pm - 10pm, midnight - 2am).
Former President Jimmy Carter on Larry King Live (CNN, 8pm, 11pm, 2am).
Rerun of that “Lady Heather’s Box” episode of C.S.I. (CBS, 8:30pm) from last season. Wasn’t that good the first time around. Though it’s nice to see Melinda Clarke. And something major happens to Catherine Willows and her family.
It’s a “real life ‘War of the Roses’” on Primetime Thursday (ABC, 9pm). Or so everyone says. Cameras follow a couple that lives together as they spent 9 months in divorce court. Very bitter couple, things get quite ugly.
Rerun of this week’s new Queer Eye for the Straight Guy (Bravo, 9pm). Single Dad gets a makeover, learns to make sushi.
Christina Ricci on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Comedy Central, 10pm and midnight).
The Orlando Jones Show (FX, 10pm and 12:30am).
Futurama (Cartoon Network, 10:30pm).
Jake Johannsen, Lynne Koplitz, Greg Giraldo on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn (Comedy Central, 10:30pm and 12:30am).
Chris Rock, the Star Spangles on a rerun of The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm).
Dana Carvey, Charles Moose, Erykah Badu on The Tonight Show (NBC, 10:35pm).

Jeri Ryan, Thrice, guest co-host Mick Foley on Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC, check your local listings).
Carl Reiner, Parminder Nagra, the Cure on The Late Late Show (CBS, check your local listings).
Salma Hayek, Scott Speedman, Blues Traveler on Last Call with Carson Daly (NBC, check your local listings).
Danny Devito, Molly Sims, Alan Jackson on Today (NBC, 7am - 10am).
Trista Rehn (of Bachelorette) and her fiance, more “Bachelor Weather”, preview of Barbara Walters interview with Kelly Ripa on Good Morning, America (ABC, 7am - 9am).
Beyonce (’cuz she hasn’t been on enough shows this week) and the first Survivor castoff on The Early Show (CBS, 7am - 9am).
Danny DeVito, Scarlett Johansson on Live with Regis and Kelly (syndicated, check your local listings).
Beyonce Knowles, LaTanya Richardson, Charles Moose on The View (ABC, check your local listings).
