Best Bets:

Gilmore Girls (WB, 7pm)
Less Than Perfect (ABC, 8:30pm)
Lucky (FX, 9pm, 9:30pm)
Alec Baldwin, Tom Dreesen on The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm)
Tom Cavanagh, Sienna Miller, Roseanne Cash on Late Night with Conan O’Brien (NBC, 11:35pm)

News:

TV DVDs due out today: more episodes of Andromeda; premiere episode of Law & Order: SVU; premiere episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent; season 2 of South Park; and season 3 of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Check out what the TV schedule will look like next season: 2003-04 Fall Schedule Grid. Read about the new shows, see what shows were cancelled, all that jazz.

Kelsey Grammer, Lea Salonga on a rerun of The Caroline Rhea Show (syndicated, check your local listings).

“OCD Follow-up” on Dr. Phil (syndicated, check your local listings).

Primetime:

Rerun of the two-hour series premiere of Fame (Bravo, 6pm-8pm).

Baseball: Texas Rangers at Atlanta Braves (TBS, 6:30pm).

The WB is airing lots of wedding episodes of their series this week, including Jackson & Sookie’s wedding on Gilmore Girls (WB, 7pm). This episode was the final episode of the second season of the show– so if you’ve been watching Gilmore Girls Beginnings on Sundays, be warned that it’s a bit of a leap to when this episode occurs. And if you’ve been watching the reruns on Tuesday nights, well this is a bit of a jump back. Would you like to check out a good Gilmore Girls fan site for an episode guide? Visit gilmore-girls.net. It is a good episode of one of my favorite shows. Oy with the poodles already.

AFI’s 100 Years … 100 Heroes & Villains: America’s Greatest Screen Characters (CBS, 7pm-10pm). Yes, it’s another one of those AFI specials. Chock full of film clips and brief snippets of interviews.

Part 1 of the 2-part series premiere of American Juniors (FOX, 7pm). It’s like American Idol, but with kids and teens. And without Simon.

Me? I’d rather watch the championship episode of Pet Star (Animal Planet, 7pm-9pm) wherein the season’s 15 winners compete for the grand prize of $25,000.

Lucille Ball, Henry Fonda in Yours, Mine, and Ours (TCM, 7pm). ” A widow with eight children meets, courts and weds a widowed Navy officer with a brood of 10.”

Turnstyle: Daryl “Chill” Mitchell (BET, 7:30pm). About Mitchell’s return to TV after his motorcycle accident.

Yoiks! “A teacher uses the power of pheromones to convince Lex to marry her” on Smallville (WB, 8pm; rerun on Sunday).

Series premiere of Keen Eddie (FOX, 8pm). ” A detective (Mark Valley) gets sent to England after bungling a drug bust in New York.” Here’s a link to Aaron Barnhart’s review. Other reviews I’ve seen have been less favorable.

“Will backs out of a dinner engagement with Claude and her parents” on Less Than Perfect (ABC, 8:30pm). Cindy Williams and Martin Mull guest star. I found last week’s episode to be alright, had a few laughs. Not great, but decent as sitcoms go. So I’ll probably watch the show for a while more this summer.

MLB Baseball: Chicago White Sox at Arizona Diamondbacks (WGN, 8:30pm).

Pardon My French: A Guide to the Real World Paris (MTV, 8:30pm).

Season premiere of The Real World: Paris (MTV, 9pm). Well, first episode with the Paris cast.

Reliable sources tell me that Lucky (FX, 9pm) has been pretty good of late. Reviews certainly were mixed early on. Worth giving it a shot during the summer months, maybe. John Corbett stars. With Ever Carradine, Giancarlo Esposito. Rerun of last week’s episode at 9:30pm.

An officer and a boy tell conflicting stories about a cop’s shooting death on NYPD Blue (ABC, 9pm).

Baseball Tonight (ESPN, 9pm).

Late Night:

Eddie Izzard on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Comedy Central, 10pm and midnight).

“A boy (Billy Mumy) talks to his dead grandmother on a toy phone” on The Twilight Zone (Sci-Fi, 10:30pm).

Alec Baldwin, Tom Dreesen on The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm).

Miss Dog Beauty Pagent Finalists, Paul Walker, Jack Johnson on The Tonight Show (NBC, 10:35pm).

Tom Cavanagh, Sienna Miller, Roseanne Cash on Late Night with Conan O’Brien (NBC, 11:35pm).

Henry Winkler, the Marijuanalogues, Redman, guest co-host Method Man on Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC, check your local listings).

Natasha Henstridge, Paul Bettany on The Late Late Show (CBS, check your local listings).

Jason Schwartzman, Killer Mike on a rerun of Last Call with Carson Daly (NBC, check your local listings).

Tomorrow:

Brian Dennehy, Daniel Bedingfield on Live with Regis and Kelly (syndicated, check your local listings).

Jerry Lewis, Ken Howard, Frankie J. on The View (ABC, check your local listings).

Al Roker, Jeff Probst, Frederique Van Der Wal on a rerun of The Caroline Rhea Show (syndicated, check your local listings).

Shannen Doherty on a rerun of The Wayne Brady Show (syndicated, check your local listings).

“The Other Woman” on a rerun of Dr. Phil (syndicated, check your local listings).

“Grooms Gone Wild” on a new Oprah (syndicated, check your local listings).
