Sorry these are late, I’m sick with a really bad sore throat and stressed out and just generally not feeling well. I need to move at the end of May and don’t yet know where to or how I’ll pay for it. Ack! I need a job, I need a place to live, little things like that. Thanks to everyone for supporting this site, it helps me feel like I’m doing something worthwhile in the midst of all this chaos.

A fun classic second season episode of Gilmore Girls (WB, 6pm). If you still haven’t tried the show, this episode should give you a good idea why this series is often compared to Northern Exposure (and that it has faster dialogue than The West Wing).

“A 6-year-old girl causes problems for her British guardian, a prince and a hotel manager” in a new movie adaptation of the classic tale Eloise at the Plaza (ABC, 6pm-8pm). Julie Andrews, Sofia Vassilieva, Jeffrey Tambor, Christine Baranski, and Debra Monk star.

“After Bill gives lice to the other guys they refuse to drink beer with him” on King of the Hill (FOX, 6:30pm).

“David Byrne offers to produce the song Homer wrote about his hatred for neighbor Ned Flanders” on The Simpsons (FOX, 7pm).

Conclusion of the two-part series finale of Touched By An Angel (CBS, 7pm). Featuring the return of many guest stars.

Harold Lloyd shorts on TCM.

MLB Baseball: Boston Red Sox at Anaheim Angels (ESPN, 7pm).

The agency races to stop an apocalyptic event; a monk makes a revelation to Sloane on a new Alias (ABC, 8pm).

An elderly woman who dies in a fire leaves part of her estate to a young woman who is subsequently murdered on Law & Order: Criminal Intent (NBC, 8pm; reruns on USA on Saturday night at 10pm).

Six Feet Under (HBO, 8pm; check your local listings).

Lois and Hal go out of town, and Reese throws a huge party that gets out of hand (what else can you do when your ‘rents go out of town?) on Malcolm in the Middle (FOX, 8pm).

“Members of an extended family of cotton farmers deal with hardships in 1950s Arkansas” in A Painted House (CBS, 8pm-10pm). Based on a book by John Grisham. Scott Glenn and Robert Sean Leonard star.

A woman, missing for six years, is found dead in her car on a beach in Santa Monica on Dragnet (ABC, 9pm). Paul Leydon (who played Simon Frasier on As The World Turns) guest stars.

Late Night:

A female party-goer claims self-defense after killing her attacker on Law & Order: SVU (USA, 10pm).

Rerun of Platinum (MTV, 10pm).

Futurama (Cartoon Network, 10pm).

Dilbert (Comedy Central, 11pm).

Fastlane (MTV, 11pm).

Lily and her family cope with a life-altering accident on Once and Again (Lifetime, midnight).

Michael (Eric Close) literally talks Theo (Dennis Haysbert) through his first move on an attractive doctor on Now and Again (Sci-Fi, midnight).

“A charming replacement and Maggie’s premonition of death make Joel reconsider his trip to New York” on Northern Exposure (Hallmark, 1am).
