Breaking news could still preempt, delay, or change schedules (especially for the major networks).

Primetime:

Cary Grant in Howard Hawks’ I Was A Male War Bride (TCM, 7pm). Fun movie.

Rerun of the most recent new episode of Gilmore Girls (WB, 7pm). Wherein Rory waits for college acceptance letters and Lorelai bumps into Max. There’s a new episode next week.

Rerun of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (UPN, 7pm). It’s the episode “Never Leave Me” wherein “Buffy gives Spike the third degree; the gang grills Andrew about evil forces.” New episode next week (the first of the final five).

“Harm and Mac investigate a charge against an officer when she is found to be pregnant” on a rerun of JAG (CBS, 7pm).

Women’s College Basketball : NCAA Tournament, Final (ESPN, 7:30pm).

New episode of 24 (FOX, 8pm; reruns on FX).

Cher: The Farewell Tour (NBC, 8pm-10pm). Could be fun or at least very much a spectacle.

“Clark must rescue his mother from thugs without revealing his powers” on a rerun of Smallville (WB, 8pm; rerun on Sunday).

“Nick represents a boy who needs a bone-marrow transplant from his reluctant sister” on a rerun of The Guardian (CBS, 8pm).

John Corbett stars in the series premiere of Lucky (FX, 9pm, 9:30pm). ” Lucky must pay back his recently deceased wife’s parents for her funeral without gambling.” Ever Carradine (of Once and Again) and Giancarlo Esposito (of Homicide) also star. Reviews have not been kind to this new half-hour dramedy; most think it’s too dark. Everyone does love Corbett, though, so maybe it’ll stick around long enough to improve or pull people in.

At long last, a new episode of NYPD Blue (ABC, 9pm).

“An attorney files obstruction-of-justice charges against a victim of child pornography” on a rerun of Judging Amy (CBS, 9pm).

“Remaining contestants sing their own songs; Clint Black helps them out” on Nashville Star (USA, 9pm).

Second episode of Kingpin (Bravo, 10pm). Uncut.
