Thanks to Wendy, Marianne, Sheila, Brooke, Rob, Pete, Karem, Kathleen, and Sam for sending me email yesterday– I think that’s a record for most email received about the picks in a single day. Anyway– thanks, it really meant a lot to hear some good things about the picks and some encouraging words.
I’ve added some ads to the sidebar, tweaked some things. That “Shop At Amazon.com” link over there goes to my nifty amazon.com portal page, the other pages go straight to amazon.com or products at amazon. Well, “TV on DVD” goes to TV on DVD page, obviously enough. Beneath that section of the sidebar is one titled “Other ways to support this site” and in there are links to some more cool stuff. I plan to rotate the product links a bit from time to time and the ads so it’s not too boring. Hope y’all don’t think we’ve gone crazy commercial here and do let me know if the page loads slow for you.
Don’t forget to go here if you’re interested in a Freaks and Geeks DVD set.

“Should the U.S. Attack Iraq? Part Two” on Oprah (syndicated, check your local listings).
“Living Conditions” and “The Harsh Light of Day” episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (FX, 5pm, 6pm).

TV Land reruns all three parts of an excellent series from last year: Inside TV Land : African Americans on Television (TV Land, 7pm-10pm). Part 1 is about Variety programs, part 2 is about dramas, part 3 is about comedies.
New episodes of both Farscape (Sci-Fi, 7pm and 11pm) and Stargate SG-1 (Sci-Fi, 8pm and 10pm).
“Sterling battles the Immigration and Naturalization Service to help a janitor reenter the country” on Mister Sterling (NBC, 7pm). Is anyone watching this show? How is it? I’d watch just to see Audra McDonald, but I already watch too many shows and this one hasn’t received good reviews. Keep meaning to try at least one episode, though (I try to watch at least one of everything).
Come on down! The Price Is Right Million Dollar Spectacular (CBS, 7pm).
Fastlane (FOX, 7pm).
Olshansky is kidnapped on Hack (CBS, 8pm). I can’t decide if I like this show or John Doe more, so I tend to watch one sometimes and the other sometimes, which may mean I’m not giving either the best shake. They’re both good (but not great). David Morse and Andre Braugher rock.
The episode of John Doe that was supposed to air tonight has been pulled because a key plot point involved an astronaut falling to Earth. So tonight, a second episode (rerun) of Fastlane (FOX, 8pm) airs in John Doe’s timeslot. Robert Forster guest stars. Doe will be back, though, and that episode should air eventually.
Miss the first two episodes of Kingpin earlier this week on NBC? You can catch them both tonight on Bravo (Bravo, 8pm, 9pm).
NBA All-Star Friday (ESPN, 8pm). Live from Atlanta.
“Stabler hunts for a 14-year-old girl who may have been abducted by a child pornographer” on Law & Order: SVU (NBC, 9pm).
Grissom & company investigate a death at a Little People’s convention on a rerun of C.S.I. (CBS, 9pm).
“Mr. Monk and the Marathon Man” rerun of Monk (USA, 9pm and 11pm).
Brendan Fraser, Kids in the Hall, Bonnie Raitt, Keb’ Mo’ on The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm).
Casey Affleck, Susan Tedeschi on The Tonight Show (NBC, 10:35pm).
Richard Belzer (of Homicide, SVU), Joy Behar on The Caroline Rhea Show (ABC Family, 11pm).
Rachel Dratch, Supergrass on Late Night with Conan O’Brien (NBC, 11:35pm).
Kathy Griffin co-hosts this week on Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC, check your local listings).
Heidi Fleiss, Kadeem Hardison, Johnny Marr on The Late Late Show (CBS, check your local listings).
Bridget Moynahan, David Cross, Greg Giraldo, French Kicks on Last Call with Carson Daly (NBC, check your local listings).
I’m gonna try to get Saturday picks online sometime later this afternoon or evening. Maybe Sunday picks, too, depending on how it goes.
