Season 1 of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine is now available for pre-order on DVD. Release date is February 18th.
More TV on DVD.
Mary Tyler Moore on The View (ABC, check your local listings).
William Shatner, Brooke Burke on The Caroline Rhea Show (syndicated, check your local listings).
“You’re Not Who I Married” on Dr. Phil (syndicated, check your local listings).
“Murders at Ft. Bragg” on Oprah (syndicated, check your local listings).
“Tabula Rasa” and “Smashed” episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (FX, 5pm, 6pm). Yes, they skipped “Once More, With Feeling” (the musical episode). Which will be very confusing for anyone watching this season of Buffy for the first time on FX if they haven’t seen the musical episode, given so much stuff happens in it. Presumably it was held back because UPN wants to air it again sometime soon.
Rerun of part 3 (of 10) of Taken (Sci-Fi, 6pm).
Listen Up! Charles Barkley With Ernie Johnson (TNT, 6:30pm).
Daniel Baldwin (of Homicide: Life on the Street) faces off against Lainie Kazan (of My Big Fat Greek Wedding) on an episode of the game show Pyramid (syndicated, check your local listings). Donny Osmond hosts this version of the classic game show.
“Rachel gives her phone number to a guy but worries he’ll call when Ross is there” on Friends (NBC, 7pm). Yup, it’s a new episode.
Survivor: Thailand (CBS, 7pm).
“Le Sage plots to kill off the stegosaurus population” on Dinotopia (ABC, 7pm).
A Christmas episode of Family Affair (WB, 7pm) is followed by more new episodes of WB shows (Do Over, The Jamie Kennedy Experiment).
Alan Ruck plays a cancer patient (now in remission) who is suing Elliot on Scrubs (NBC, 7:30pm).
New episode of C.S.I. (CBS, 8pm).
Part 4 (of 10) of Taken (Sci-Fi, 8pm, 10pm, midnight). A couple of you wrote in to tell me that you’re really quite taken with Taken (I couldn’t resist, sorry). Sounds pretty darn cool. Some reviews have been great, the ratings certainly have been great for Sci-Fi. If you haven’t been watching, you can check the whole saga out as Sci-Fi will be running the entire miniseries twice this weekend.
Yoiks. “Will invites Karen to move in with him” on Will & Grace (NBC, 8pm).
Um, what? Jim Belushi reads letters to Santa or something on Dear Santa (ABC, 8pm).
An hour-long special called the Best of Insomniac (Comedy Central, 8:30pm-9:30pm) is followed by the season premiere of Insomniac with Dave Attell (Comedy Central, 9:30pm).
“The team search for a boy who disappeared at a subway station” on a rerun of Without A Trace (CBS, 9pm). If you enjoy C.S.I. or the various Law & Order series, you’ll probably like this show quite a bit.
“Abby’s mother interferes with Eric’s treatment; a baby is abandoned in the ER” on a new ER (NBC, 9pm). Be prepared for all kinds of scenery chewing.
Rob Schneider on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Comedy Central, 10pm and midnight).
Jennifer Love Hewitt, Diving Dogs, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers on a rerun of The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm).
Billy Crystal, Steve Schirripa, Alanis Morissette on The Tonight Show (NBC, 10:35pm).

Rob Schneider on Live with Regis and Kelly (syndicated, check your local listings).
Pierce Brosnan on The View (ABC, check your local listings).
Jane Seymour, Eddie Izzard, Cathy Moriarty on The Caroline Rhea Show (syndicated, check your local listings).
Larry King on Dr. Phil (syndicated, check your local listings).
“Movies You Should See” on Oprah (syndicated, check your local listings).
