Best Bets | Daytime | Primetime | Late Night | Tomorrow

Best Bets:

Gilmore Girls (WB, 7pm)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer (UPN, 7pm)
Life with Bonnie (ABC, 8pm)
George Clooney, Jack Hanna on The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm)

Daytime:

Drea De Matteo, Eve on Live with Regis and Kelly (syndicated, check your local listings).

Vincent D’Onofrio, Marilu Henner on The View (ABC, check your local listings).

Julianne Moore, Jason Sehorn, Andrea Bocelli on The Caroline Rhea Show (syndicated, check your local listings).

“Improving Your Self-Esteem” on Dr. Phil (syndicated, check your local listings).

“E-mails to Oprah” on Oprah (syndicated, check your local listings).

“Tough Love” and “Spiral” episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (FX, 5pm, 6pm).

Primetime:

Rory and Lorelai try to attend four different Thanksgiving celebrations in a single day in a new episode of Gilmore Girls (WB, 7pm) titled ” A Deep-Fried Korean Thanksgiving.” Yes, they’ll attempt to dine with Luke, Jackson & Sookie, Lane, and Rory’s grandparents (of course). Plus Dean and Jess will face each other at some point. Expect a cool episode that showcases the many reasons this is, IMHO, the best show on TV. Other series have done the “try to attend multiple Thanksgiving dinners” thing before, just as other shows have had love triangles; but this show somehow makes it all work in new and interesting ways. And it’s fun. If I could choose two words to describe Gilmore Girls, they’d be “smart” and “fun.”

Buffy and the gang interrogate Spike about what he’s been up to while under the influence of a certain evil entity on a new Buffy the Vampire Slayer (UPN, 7pm). This is another smart show that certainly has it’s fun moments and fun episodes. You remember how Joss and company promised this season would be lighter in tone than last season? I’m not sure I buy that. Seems like it’s been pretty dark thus far (and will only get darker). I’m intrigued, I hope this buildup pays off.

Red gets Kitty a dog. And Eric just may propose to Donna. On That ’70s Show (FOX, 7pm).

“Harm works with Italian authorities to track down a serial killer” on JAG (CBS, 7pm).

Dr. Phil is profiled on Biography (A&E, 7pm and 11pm), then Oprah is profiled (A&E, 8pm-10pm).

It’s Bonnie’s anniversary and she dreams she’s married to . . . Tom Hanks. On Life with Bonnie (ABC, 8pm; ABC Family at 8pm on November 30th and 2pm on December 1). Tom Hanks guest stars. This show has improved significantly since it debuted. Still not as cool as I’d like, but it’s fun.

It’s Noon (finally) on day/season 2 of 24 (FOX, 8pm). I’m still stuck back at the first hour and I’m debating whether to watch the show this season. It frustrated me too much last season.

Clark finds “the key to his identity” in a cave. Or something. On Smallville (WB, 8pm; rerun on Sunday at 4pm).

New episodes of The Guardian (CBS, 8pm) and Judging Amy (CBS, 9pm).

“The detectives investigate the murder of a conscientious social worker” on NYPD Blue (ABC, 9pm).

“Katie Couric interviews Shania Twain, Sharon Stone and George Harrison’s widow, Olivia” on a special called Katie at Night (NBC, 9pm).

Late Night:

Rerun of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Comedy Central, 10pm and midnight).

George Clooney, Jack Hanna on The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm).

Don Rickles, Eddie Izzard, Enrique Iglesias on The Tonight Show (NBC, 10:35pm).

Caroline Rhea, Mark Feuerstein, Soundtrack of Our Lives on Late Night with Conan O’Brien (NBC, 11:35pm).

Halle Berry, Oliver Hudson, Kelly Rowland on The Late Late Show (CBS, check your local listings).

Julie Bowen, Ben Kweller on Last Call with Carson Daly (NBC, check your local listings).

Tomorrow Morning:

Esai Morales, Cedric the Entertainer, Wendie Malick on Live with Regis and Kelly (syndicated, check your local listings).

George Clooney, Shelley Long, Rebecca Budig on The View (ABC, check your local listings).

Neil Diamond on The Caroline Rhea Show (syndicated, check your local listings).

“My Big Fat Attitude” on Dr. Phil (syndicated, check your local listings). Fat women who insist their “authentic selves” are fat. A 95lb woman who can’t stand the sight of fat people. The 5 biggest myths about obesity.

Venus and Serena Williams on Oprah (syndicated, check your local listings).
