Best Bets | Daytime | Primetime | Late Night

Best Bets:

Ed (NBC, 7pm)
The West Wing (NBC, 8pm)
Felicity (WB, 8pm)
Law & Order (NBC, 9pm)
David Boreanaz on The Daily Show (Comedy Central, 10pm)
“Demon With A Glass Hand” episode of The Outer Limits (Sci-Fi, 1am)

Primetime:

Gotta love sweeps. Lots and lots of new episodes (assume everything is new unless I say differently. Or unless it’s an old series no longer being filmed, obviously).

Oakland A’s at New York Yankees (ESPN, 6pm).

Ed (NBC, 7pm) butts heads with Dennis and also hosts a “Quizbowl.”

Lois serves jury duty on a new Malcolm in the Middle (FOX, 7pm). On a special day and time.

An alien creature traps Archer and Trip on Enterprise (UPN, 7pm).

Four cool episodes of Batman (TV Land, 7pm-9pm) that feature Catwoman. Meow.

Dan Ackroyd guest stars on According to Jim (ABC, 7:30pm).

Ashton Kutcher guest stars on Grounded For Life (FOX, 7:30pm).

Satellite photos link Russian to a nuclear facility in Iran on The West Wing (NBC, 8pm).

Another reason to appreciate Felicity (WB, 8pm): some of the final episodes of the series will look at the road not taken. What if Felicity had picked Noel way back when?

Billy Crystal guest stars on The Bernie Mac Show (FOX, 8pm).

Someone threatens to expose Wolf Lake (UPN, 8pm) on the internet.

New York Mets at Arizona Diamondbacks (ESPN2, 8:30pm).

The detectives look for the killer of a private investigator on Law & Order (NBC, 9pm).

Late Night:

David Boreanaz on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Comedy Central, 10pm and midnight).

Kirsten Dunst, Angie Stone, the O’Jays on The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm).

Doc Antle with wild animals, Willem Dafoe on The Tonight Show (NBC, 10:35pm).

Charlie Sheen, Sarah Silverman on Late Night with Conan O’Brien (NBC, 11:35pm).

George Segal, Fairuza Balk, comic Todd Glass on The Late Late Show (CBS, check your local listings).

Peter Gallagher guest stars in the “Closet Cases” episode of Homicide: Life on the Street (Court TV, midnight).

Jimmy Breslin, Lisa Loeb, Jason Alexander, Republican strategist Jack Burkman on Politically Incorrect (ABC, check your local listings).

Jimmy Kimmel, Adam Carolla, Lounge Against the Machine on Last Call with Carson Daly (NBC, check your local listings).

Robert Culp stars in the classic “Demon With A Glass Hand” episode of The Outer Limits (Sci-Fi, 1am). Written by Harlan Ellison.
