Best Bets:

New episode of Gilmore Girls (WB, 7pm)
New episode of 24 (FOX, 8pm)
Bob Costas, Eugene Levy, Billy Bragg on Late Night with Conan O’Brien (NBC, 11:35pm)
James Marsters (Spike!) on Politically Incorrect (ABC, check your local listings).
Conan O’Brien on Last Call with Carson Daly (NBC, check your local listings)

Daytime:

John Leguizamo, Billy Crudup on The Rosie O’Donnell Show (syndicated, check your local listings).

“Dr. Phil On Competitive Relationships” on Oprah (syndicated, check your local listings).

Louie Anderson guest stars as the spoiled son of a caviar importer on a very funny episode of Remington Steele (PAX, 4pm).

The remarkable two-part “Becoming” episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (FX, 5pm). Argh. FX is only airing part 1 tonight, part 2 airs tomorrow. (Seems like on most Tuesday nights they only air a 5pm rerun now).

Primetime:

Woohoo! At long last, Gilmore Girls (WB, 7pm) returns with a new episode. Lorelai and Emily visit a spa. Hal Linden guest stars.

A police sketch artist has a special ability on Mysterious Ways (PAX, 7pm).

New episodes of That ’70s Show (FOX, 7pm) and Andy Richter Controls The Universe (FOX, 7:30pm).

I wonder what’ll happen between 6 and 7pm on 24 (FOX, 8pm). Guess I’ll have to tune in.

The interns’ parents visit on a new Scrubs (NBC, 8:30pm).

New episode of The Shield (FX, 9pm).

Rest of the Primetime Network report: CBS has new episodes of JAG (CBS, 7pm), The Guardian (CBS, 8pm), and Judging Amy (CBS, 9pm). ABC has new episodes of Dharma & Greg (ABC, 7pm), Spin City (ABC, 7:30pm), and The Court (ABC, 9pm). NYPD Blue (ABC, 8pm) is a rerun. Smallville (WB, 8pm) is a rerun of the one where a student leeches off some of Clark’s powers. Buffy the Vampire Slayer (UPN, 7pm) is a rerun of the one where Buffy is made invisible. NBC has new episodes of Watching Ellie (NBC, 7:30pm) and Frasier (NBC, 8pm).

Late Night:

Judy Woodruff on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Comedy Central, 10pm and midnight).

John Ashcroft, Dee Dee Davis on The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm).
