Best Bets | Daytime | Primetime | Late Night

Best Bets:

Let’s Bowl (Comedy Central, 7pm)
Once and Again (ABC, 9pm; Friday at 10pm on Lifetime)
Crossing Jordan (NBC, 9pm)
Shawn Colvin on The Tonight Show (NBC, 10:35pm)
Janeane Garofalo on Last Call with Carson Daly (NBC, check your local listings)

Daytime:

Tina Fey, Donny Osmond, Mike O’Malley on The Rosie O’Donnell Show (syndicated, check your local listings).

“I Only Have Eyes For You” and “Go Fish” episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (FX, 5pm, 6pm).

Primetime:

Season premiere of Let’s Bowl (Comedy Central, 7pm). It’s funny, it’s a game show (sortof), it’s filmed in Minneapolis . . . it’s cool!

If you missed the recent episodes of Seventh Heaven (WB, 7pm, 8pm) that featured Richard Lewis and Laraine Newman, they’re both airing again tonight. In which Matt falls for and marries the daughter of a rabbi (played by Lewis). Lewis and Newman will be in a few more new episodes after these. I’m not a huge fan of this series, but I caught parts of both these episodes, which were very funny.

FOX isn’t airing anything, they’ve pulled The American Embassy so instead of airing reruns of other shows, they’re airing the movie The Wedding Singer (FOX, 7pm).

Cary Grant, Audrey Hepburn, et al in Charade (AMC, 7pm and 11:30pm).

Bosco jeopardizes lives (so what else is new?) on Third Watch (NBC, 8pm).

Lily, Judy, and Aaron’s Mom shows early signs of Alzheimer’s disease on a new episode of Once and Again (ABC, 9pm; Friday at 10pm on Lifetime). Bonnie Bartlett guest stars.

Carl Reiner and Brian Stokes Mitchell guest star on a new Crossing Jordan (NBC, 9pm).

Late Night:

Tony Danza on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Comedy Central, 10pm and midnight).

Rosie Perez, George Miller, Gina Crews (from Survivor) on The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm).

Jim Belushi, Greta Van Susteren, Chris Botti, Shawn Colvin on The Tonight Show (NBC, 10:35pm).

Laura Prepon, Rachel Dratch, Todd Solondz on a very funny rerun of Late Night with Conan O’Brien (NBC, 11:35pm).

Adam Arkin, Patricia Arquette, comic Judah Friedlander on The Late Late Show (CBS, check your local listings).

Bob Odenkirk,Gregory Palast, Floyd Brown, Roshumba on Politically Incorrect (ABC, check your local listings).

Janeane Garofalo, Fat Joe on Last Call with Carson Daly (NBC, check your local listings).
