Best Bets | Daytime | Primetime | Late Night

Best Bets:

Once and Again (ABC, 9pm)
Crossing Jordan (NBC, 9pm)
Everybody Loves Raymond (CBS, 8pm)
Boston Public (FOX, 7pm)
The Colin Quinn Show (NBC, 8:30pm)
Andy Richter on The Daily Show (Comedy Central, 10pm and midnight)

Daytime:

Jill Hennessy, Barry Watson, the Corrs on The Rosie O’Donnell Show (syndicated, check your local listings).

“The high cost of fame for Brandy” on Oprah (syndicated, check your local listings). Whatever.

Dana Delany guest stars (again) on Magnum, P.I. (A&E, 4pm).

Ireland Rocks: From a Whisper to a Scream (Bravo, 4pm-6pm).

Mad About You begins a run on Lifetime (Lifetime, 4pm-6pm; 11pm-midnight).

Remember when David Duchovny hosted Saturday Night Live (Comedy Central, 5pm)? I do.

Xander falls for a substitute teacher in “Teacher’s Pet” and then Buffy has a pager in the “Never Kill a Boy on the First Date” episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (FX, 5pm, 6pm).

“The Ultimate Computer” is one of my favorite episodes of Star Trek (Sci-Fi, 6pm). I’ve probably noted that on this site 10 times now in the last three years.

Primetime:

Ronnie witnesses a student commit a crime on Boston Public (FOX, 7pm).

Gavin MacLeod guest stars on King of Queens (CBS, 7pm).

Premiere (I think) of Baby Bob (CBS, 7:30pm). I can’t believe CBS is this desperate.

Ray decides (in order to impress Debra) to talk to his daughter about sex on Everybody Loves Raymond (CBS, 8pm).

It’s only the second episode and there’s already a bombing on The American Embassy (FOX, 8pm).

A “killer strikes during the Seafarer’s festival” on Glory Days (WB, 8pm).

Breakfast food is Unwrapped (Food Network, 8pm and 11pm).

I’m told that last week’s Colin Quinn Show (NBC, 8:30pm) was very funny and sometimes shocking. So it’s probably worth watching tonight, is what I’m saying.

Sounds like Once and Again (ABC, 9pm) is once again (heh) airing an episode that focuses (to some extent) on Sam (Steven Weber). Here’s hoping we still get to see plenty of the rest of the fine cast.

Jordan teams up with a Marine detective on Crossing Jordan (NBC, 9pm). And I’m now imagining a special crossover event involving JAG.

Lou Reed on Musicians (Bravo, 9pm and midnight).

Late Night:

Senator Palmer meets Jack Bauer on 24 (FX, 10pm and midnight).

Andy Richter on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Comedy Central, 10pm and midnight).

Sen. John McCain, the White Stripes on The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm).

Rudy Giuliani, Angie Harmon, India.Arie on a rerun of The Tonight Show (NBC, 10:35pm).

Miguel Ferrer on Tales from the Crypt (Sci-Fi, 11pm).

Jim Belushi, Amy Sedaris, Mike Lupica on a rerun of Late Night with Conan O’Brien (NBC, 11:35pm).

Kevin Pollak, wrestler Stacy Keibler, Clinic on The Late Late Show (CBS, check your local listings).

Tom Green, Florence Henderson on Politically Incorrect (ABC, check your local listings).

Alicia Keys on a rerun of Last Call with Carson Daly (NBC, check your local listings).
