Daytime | Primetime | Late Night

Sorry these are late, still getting used to the new schedule and format. Thanks for your support and patience.

Best Bets:

Ed (NBC, 7pm)
The West Wing (NBC, 8pm)
Good Eats (Food, 8pm and 11pm)
The Job (ABC, 8:30pm)
Law & Order (NBC, 9pm)
Late Night with Conan O’Brien (NBC, 11:35pm)

Daytime:

Peter Jurasik (who most best know for playing Londo on Babylon 5) guest stars as a professor who may or may not be a spy on Scarecrow and Mrs. King (PAX, 3pm).

Gabriel Byrne on Inside the Actor’s Studio (Bravo, 3pm).

Cynthia Nixon, Donald Faison, Mark Consuelos (of All My Children, he’s married to Kelly Ripa) on The Rosie O’Donnell Show (syndicated, check your local listings).

Dave Pelzer on Oprah (syndicated, check your local listings). He was “the child called ‘It’,” victim in one of the worst child abuse cases in California history.

“No Compromises” is the first episode of the fifth (and final) season of Babylon 5 (Sci-Fi, 4pm, letterboxed). Tracy Scoggins joins the cast.

That’s brilliant writer Darin Morgan inside the Flukeman suit in “The Host” episode of The X-Files (FX, 4pm and midnight).

Ivan Dixon directed this episode of Magnum, P.I. (A&E, 4pm) where Magnum supervises a treasure hunt. Nancy Stafford and Michael Swan guest star.

Jon Lovitz joins the cast of NewsRadio (A&E, 5:30pm) for the show’s final season.

“Amends” is a Christmas episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (FX, 5pm) and “Gingerbread” really isn’t (FX, 6pm).

Primetime:

Ed (NBC, 7pm) begins dating a woman who sounds like trouble, if the commercials are to be believed.

The Enterprise (UPN, 7pm) gang investigates a disabled Klingon vessel.

Joey begins dating two men on Dawson’s Creek (WB, 7pm).

The President and his staff discuss whether to counter a verbal assault on affirmative action. Boy that sounds dry, but of course I bet there are other stories goig on too on The West Wing (NBC, 8pm).

Squid episode of Good Eats (Food Network, 8pm and 11pm). Is squid the ultimate tailgate food?

A psychic tells Mike that his sister will be the next teenage girl to disappear on Glory Days (WB, 8pm).

The guys have way too much fun with a telescope on a new episode of The Job (ABC, 8:30pm).

Party snacks are the subject of another Unwrapped (Food Network, 8:30pm and 11:30pm).

Someone risks their life and career to negotiate the release of a murder suspect’s hostage on Law & Order (NBC, 9pm).

Remote Control (History Channel, 9pm) is all about the invention of the first remote controls.

Charlie Sheen on Revealed with Jules Asner (E!, 9pm).

Late Night:

John King (from CNN) on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Comedy Central, 10pm and midnight).

Tim Russert, Jason Schwartzman on The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm).

Matt LeBlanc, Dakota Fanning (the little girl from I Am Sam) on The Tonight Show (NBC, 10:35pm).

Al Franken, Christopher Meloni (of Oz and Law & Order: SVU) on Late Night with Conan O’Brien (NBC, 11:35pm).

Christopher Titus on The Late Late Show (CBS, check your local listings).

David Wells, Trantric on Last Call with Carson Daly (NBC, check your local listings).

Crosetti’s old cases are distributed to other detectives in the “Nothing Personal” episode of Homicide: Life on the Street (Court TV, midnight). And Kay isn’t pleased to get the Chilton case, which puts her perfect clearance rate in jeopardy.
