Daytime:

Can’t get enough James Garner? Try reruns of The Rockford Files (PAX, 9am) and Maverick (TV Land, 11am).

Game 5 of the 1969 World Series (ESPN Classic, Noon). Orioles vs. the amazin’ Mets.

Yet another airing of the “Where there’s smoke, there’s fish” episode of Good Eats (Food Network, Noon). Have you noticed that Alton Brown’s official website is now online?

B.A. and Murdock are framed and then put on a chain gang . . . with some nasty guys who stage a prison breakout on The A-Team (TV Land, 1pm).

The cast of the Harry Potter film on The Rosie O’Donnell Show (syndicated, check your local listings).

NYC Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik is a guest on Oprah (syndicated, check your local listings).

A new Watcher arrives in Sunnydale, Buffy and Faith bond (um, sortof) in the “Bad Girls” episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (FX, 5pm). And then Wesley has Buffy and Faith investigate a certain murder (FX, 6pm).

Behind the Scenes (E!, 6pm) is Wild About Harry. That’s Harry Potter they’re talking about, of course. It’s a look at the phenomenon.

Ice T on Arsenio Jams (VH1, 6pm and 10pm); Hammer on Arsenio Jams (VH1, 6:30pm and 10:30pm).

Primetime:

Neil Patrick Harris guest stars as a new bowling alley lawyer who styles himself after Ed (NBC, 7pm). He’s even got a staff that resemble’s Ed’s. Oooh ahh. Well, it makes for funny commercials. Doogie Houser, M.D. as Ed! No way can he perfect the Ed smirk, tho.

Francis emancipates himself from his parents on Malcolm in the Middle (FOX, 7pm).

The crewmembers disguise themselves as aliens and explore a new world on Enterprise (UPN, 7pm).

Dawson blames Joey for his dad’s death on Dawson’s Creek (WB, 7pm).

Series premiere of The Bernie Mac Show (FOX, 7:30pm), it’s followed by another episode of the series at 8pm. It’s a sitcom. About a comedian and his wife who suddenly find themselves raising his sister’s three children.

The military loses contact with one of its submarines on The West Wing (NBC, 8pm).

“Ham I Am” episode of Good Eats (Food Network, 8pm and 11pm).

“Building Bashers” episode of Junkyard Wars (TLC, 8pm and 11pm). They build demolition vehicles.

Titus (FOX, 8:30pm) starts street-racing.

Lt. Van Buren learns that someone may have tampered with the evidence she used to convict a man years ago on Law & Order (NBC, 9pm). Looks like a good episode for S. Epatha Merkerson. Also: Larry Brygman guest stars (Dr. John Dixon on As The World Turns, Tony-nominated last year for his role in Proof).

Late Night:

Carson Daly on The Daily Show (Comedy Central, 10pm and midnight). And Out at the Movies looks at Harry Potter.

Harry Connick Jr., Bernie Mac on The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm).

Jack Welch (former CEO of GE), Giselle, and Tori Amos on The Tonight Show (NBC, 10:35pm).

Heidi Klum and Malachy McCort on Late Night with Conan O’Brien (NBC, 11:35pm). They’ll likely add another guest.

Dennis Miller, Jessalyn Gilsig (of Boston Public), Alana Davis on The Late Late Show (CBS, check your local listings).

Charles Durning guest stars in the “Finnegan’s Wake” episode of Homicide: Life on the Street (Court TV, midnight).

Daniel Baldwin, Jessica Steen, Daphne Zuniga, and Joel Grey star in an episode of The Outer Limits (Sci-Fi, 1am).

Thanks to everyone who has made a donation thus far. Y’all rock.
