There will be no TV Picks today in light of breaking news.
I suspect most network programming will be preempted this evening for news specials and the like. I have no idea if the late night shows that film in New York will have new episodes or not (it seems unlikely).
The Food Network and HGTV aren’t airing anything today. TNT and TBS and other Turner stations are currently carrying CNN coverage. Expect many cable networks to have their own coverage or to carry coverage from other networks. And some to just post notes (like the Food Network did) saying they’ve suspended operations and expect you’ll be watching news coverage elsewhere.
It looks like if you want something other than coverage of today’s tragic events, you’ll want to check out A&E, AMC, TCM, History Channel, and the Cartoon Network. Probably some other cable networks.
