Spend an afternoon with spies and private investigators: Scarecrow and Mrs. King (PAX, 2pm); Remington Steele (PAX, 3pm); Magnum, P.I. (A&E, 4pm); The Rockford Files (TNN, 5pm).

Secret missions, Romulans, and cloaking devices– ohmy! It’s “The Enterprise Incident” episode of Star Trek (Sci-Fi, 4pm).

Mr. T is profiled on True Hollywood Story (E!, 4pm).

Bill McNeal doesn’t like the new smoking policies on NewsRadio (A&E, 5:30pm).

At long last, somebody goes to Z’ha’dum (oh-oh) on Babylon 5 (Sci-Fi, 6pm, letterboxed). Season finale of the third season. You lucky ducks only watching it now can see the beginning of the fourth season already tomorrow. Why, in my day, you had to wait many months for resolution to this cliffhanger.

Nancy Sinatra guest stars (as herself) on China Beach (History Channel, 1pm and 6pm). And Laurette (Chloe Webb) gets a big break.

David Duchovny on The Daily Show (Comedy Central, 6pm). Rerun from last night.

You’re watching Gilmore Girls (WB, 7pm), right? Tonight’s rerun is of “Star Crossed Lovers and Other Strangers”. Wherein Rory skips the family dinner for an anniversary date with Dean and Lorelai ends up on a blind date (sortof).

Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn are charming (of course) in Charade (AMC, 7pm).

A student is hit (and killed) by a car and that’s just the beginning on C.S.I. (CBS, 8pm).

Part 3 (of 3) of Dune (Sci-Fi, 8pm-10pm; midnight-2am).

Dan Rather and Steve Guttenberg are among the guests on a new A.J. After Hours (E!, 9pm).

ER (NBC, 9pm) is a rerun of the one with the trainwreck. Much Luka angst, plus Bishop James Cromwell.

Second episode of Sports Night (Comedy Central, 9:30pm). Dan (Josh Charles) is asked by the network to make an on-air apology.

“Zen and the Art of Murder” episode of Homicide: Life on the Street (Court TV, 10pm). More change for Bayliss.

Martin Short, Missy Elliot and Nelly Furtado on The Tonight Show (NBC, 10:35pm).

Star Jones, Blink-182 on The Late Show w/ David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm).

Craig Bierko, Steve Earle on Late Night w/ Conan O’Brien (NBC, 11:35pm).

Jennifer Jason Leigh, Ben Browder (of Farscape) on The Late Late Show (CBS, check your local listings).

Joe Rogan, Robert Wuhl on Politically Incorrect (ABC, check your local listings).
