Still reeling from last night’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer season finale? Just remember that it was a season finale, not a series finale (no matter how the WB wants to promote it). The show will be back for another season next year on UPN. And Sarah Michelle Gellar will be back, too. Angel will be back, but remain on the WB (though in a new timeslot). If you still aren’t reassured (or are just curious to see what Joss has to say), Joss Whedon posted this morning about it at The Bronze (the Buffy board). (His words are bright green there, see today’s quote below).
Last night of new network TV for the season! Yikes.
Something icky this way comes on Babylon 5 (Sci-Fi, 6pm, letterboxed). Good scenes for Marcus, tho.
Ed and Carol and Warren and probably some more of the gang go to the prom on the season finale of Ed (NBC, 7pm).
Will Voyager get home? And how will they manage it? There’s time travel and a visit from the Borg queen in the two-hour series finale of Star Trek: Voyager (UPN, 7pm). Easily my least favorite Trek series, but it still had some good characters and great episodes.
Spin City (ABC, 7pm) airs an hour-long season finale at an earlier hour.
Dawson prepares to head off to film school for the summer on the season finale of Dawson’s Creek (WB, 7pm).
Felicity (WB, 8pm) is torn between Noel and Ben (yet again) on the season finale.
Drew ends up in a pysch ward on the hour-long season finale of The Drew Carey Show (ABC, 8pm).
Finale of Boot Camp (FOX, 8pm).
The way-cool “Three Chips for Sister Marsha” episode of Good Eats (Food Network, 8pm and 11pm). It’s about how to make various types of chocolate chip cookies.
Back to back new episodes of Law & Order (NBC, 8pm and 9pm). Including the season finale. This is the last season and these are the last episodes for Angie Harmon.
The Prez is forced to resign and look for work on the season finale of That’s My Bush! (Comedy Central, 9:30pm).
Giancarlo Esposito and Michael Michelle join the cast of Homicide: Life on the Street (Court TV, 10pm) in the first episode of the show’s seventh (and final) season.
Jerry Springer on The Daily Show (Comedy Central, 10pm).
Alec Baldwin, Yogi Berra on The Late Show w/ David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm).
Ben Affleck, Dame Edna, Poe on The Tonight Show (NBC, 10:35pm).
Chris Isaak, Peri Gilpin, Ike Turner on Late Night w/ Conan O’Brien (NBC, 11:35pm).
David Hasselhoff, Ana Gasteyer, Duncan Sheik on The Late Late Show (CBS, check your local listings).
