If you don’t watch As The World Turns (CBS, check your local listings) or haven’t watched lately. Well. It’s an exciting time, the show just won the “best drama” and “best writing for a drama” daytime Emmy awards. And Martha Byrne (Lily) and Lesli Kay (Molly) won best actress and best supporting actress Emmys. Too cool. Let the celebration begin! It’s the first writing award ever for the drama. And only the second time they’ve won for best soap overall. I’m thrilled.

Meanwhile, things are getting pretty exciting over on Guiding Light (CBS, check your local listings), too. The show is making a comeback, I think. At least in some areas.

The Rosie O’Donnell Show (syndicated, check your local listings) celebrates it’s 100th episode today. Also: congratulations for winning the best talk show and best talk show host Emmy awards.

Draal is back again (yay, Draal!) on Babylon 5 (Sci-Fi, 6pm, letterboxed).

Nothin’ but Daria (MTV, 6pm-9:30pm).

Mandy Patinkin guest stars on the season finale of Boston Public (FOX, 7pm). Let’s hope David E. Kelley wrote a good character for him and that he gets to sing.

Junkyard Wars (TLC, 7pm): “Offroad vehicles”

Mary and Lucy have it out over a guy on the season finale of Seventh Heaven (WB, 7pm). It’s gone all soapy of late.

There’s an hour-long season finale of King of Queens (CBS, 7pm) which features the obligatory sitcom family pregnancy scare.

Jon Polito guest stars as El Gato on Miami Vice (TNN, 7pm). It’s part 1 of 2.

Ally et al go to prom (!?) on the season finale of Ally McBeal (FOX, 8pm). I the episode from a week ago may qualify as the Worst. Episode. Ever. Here’s hoping the finale is better. Please let the finale be better. K.C. and the Sunshine Band appear so that could be a step in the right direction (or a tragic mistake).

When the powers that be put together the season finale of Roswell (WB, 8pm), they knew it might very well be the series finale. Fortunately, UPN picked up Roswell and we’ll get another season of the show. So somehow I don’t think all the aliens will be going away to their home planet for good . . . (unless the show goes in a radical new direction next year!).

Conclusion of Anne Frank (ABC, 8pm).

Ray flashes back to the day that Ally was born (his daughter, not Ally McBeal) on the season finale of Everybody Loves Raymond (CBS, 8:30pm).

There’s Yet Another School Shooting on the season finale of Third Watch (NBC, 9pm). Dude. Didn’t both Law & Order and ER both have recent stories about shootings like this? (At a school, at a foster care facility). Can we stop with these stories now? Please?

Season finale of Family Law (CBS, 9pm).

Lisa Loeb guest stars on a new episode of The Chris Isaak Show (Showtime, 9pm).

“Steve Carell humbly hosts a retrospective on his own accomplishments” on The Daily Show (Comedy Central, 10pm).

Andre Braugher finally won a well-deserved Emmy for his work in the Homicide: Life on the Street (Court TV, 10pm) episode “Fallen Heroes”. Part 1 airs tonight, part 2 tomorrow. It’s strong stuff that ultimately results in two detectives departing the series. Sixth season finale.

Ray Romano, “space tourist” Dennis Tito on The Late Show w/ David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm).

Rob Schneider, Dave Matthews Band, ugly dog contest on The Tonight Show (NBC, 10:35pm).

Amy Brenneman, Greg Proops on The Late Late Show (CBS, check your local listings).

Dolly Parton on a classic rerun of Late Night w/ Conan O’Brien (NBC, 11:35pm).

Andre Braugher and Richard Belzer are among the stars of Spike Lee’s Get On The Bus (HBO, 1am).
