Sci-Fi channel airs a Star Trek marathon today (Sci-Fi, 6am-6pm).

Court TV airs a Homicide: Life on the Street (Court TV, 8am-6pm) marathon today, which includes an airing of Homicide: The Movie (Court TV, 4pm).

FX airs a NYPD Blue marathon today (FX, 11am-1am).

TCM airs a bunch of movies that feature Robert Mitchum, including Night of the Hunter (TCM, 12:30pm), The Sundowners (TCM, 2:30pm), and The Grass is Greener (TCM, 5pm).

Things come to a head with the telepaths, Londo & G’Kar make a discover on Babylon 5 (Sci-Fi, 6pm, letterboxed).

Both parts of the two-part pilot movie of Miami Vice (TNN, 6pm and 7pm) air today.

Tonight in primetime network TV: CBS, FOX, UPN, and the WB have new episodes of all of their regular Monday series. ABC presents the movie Good Will Hunting (ABC, 7pm-10pm) and NBC airs reruns of a bunch of their sitcoms (Friends, Will & Grace, Just Shoot Me, and Frasier). Don’t ask me to explain ABC & NBC’s sweeps strategies, I’ll be busy watching new episodes of some of my favorite shows on other networks.

Six teachers quit, presumably in support of the teachers who were fired on Boston Public (FOX, 7pm).

Mary returns on 7th Heaven (WB, 7pm).

New episode of First Wave (Sci-Fi, 7pm and midnight).

Tracy and Hepburn in Adam’s Rib (TCM, 7pm).

Lots of folks are in danger on a crucial new episode of Roswell (WB, 8pm). I don’t dare say more for fear of giving things away, but if you’re a fan of the series you’ve gotta see this one.

Fish and Cage go into therapy together and their therapist is played by Fred Willard on Ally McBeal (FOX, 8pm). Taye Diggs and Kelly Lynch also guest star.

Ray is upset ‘cuz the twins are playing fairies in a school play on Everybody Loves Raymond (CBS, 8pm). Becker (CBS, 8:30pm) is disappointed by the reaction (or lack thereof) to a commencement address he gives.

Just how many tv characters has Billy Dee Williams fathered? Williams reprises his role as Darryl’s birth father on The Hughleys (UPN, 8pm). Last week Williams
played Bois’ Dad on Gideon’s Crossing.

New episode of 100 Centre Street (A&E, 8pm and midnight). I wish I could heartily recommend it, but both times I’ve tried to watch it, I fell asleep ten minutes into the show!

Bette Midler is the guest on Larry King Live (CNN, 8pm and 11pm).

Season premiere of Daria (MTV, 9pm). It’s preceded by a bunch of classic episodes (MTV, 6pm-9pm).

Secrets are revealed on Cold Feet (Bravo, 9pm and midnight).

Reed Diamond joins the cast of Homicide: Life on the Street (Court TV, 10pm) as Mike Kellerman in the first episode of the fourth season. Alas, Beau Felton (Daniel Baldwin) and Stanley Bolander (Ned Beatty) left the series after the third season.

Julia Roberts on The Late Show w/ David Letterman (CBS, 10:35pm). I predict: flirting.

Bill Maher, Dido on The Tonight Show (NBC, 10:35pm).

Adam Sandler and Al Franken on a rerun of Late Night w/ Conan (NBC, check your local listings).

SCTV (NBC, check your local listings).
